Background with Rich Razzleberry Ombre Stamp Pad

  • What's up, Ombre?
  • Third wave of Sale-A-Bration selections announced
  • Card and Tin Class - March 26

Stampin' Up! Ombre Stampin' Pad

Today I played with my Rich Razzleberry Ombre Stampin' Pad.  I was able to make this background on Whisper White Cardstock simply by dragging the pad across the paper.  I tried it lighter, but found that I liked the darker coverage better.  Stampin' Up! also makes these pads in Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral in the main catalog and a Peekaboo Peach Ombre Stampin' Pad in the Occasions catalog.

I added a Sunde using the frozen Treats Framelits and the sentiment is from the Cool Treats set.  I love the little cherry for the top of the Sunday.  I covered the "hot fudge" with Wink of Stella to give it the shine of real hot fudge.

The background is a little out of my comfort zone, but I've had the Rich Razzleberry Ombre stampin' pad sitting in my stamp pad tray for a while and thought it was time to give it a try.  I'm not itotally loving this look, but it is a new technique for me and I know I'll be trying some other ideas now that I've broken it open.

Sale-A-Bration promotion adds freebies

Popular Sale-A-Bration selections are being depleted, as the Sale-A-Bration promotion nears its end.  The card tins and the 6 X 6 Glimmer Paper are no longer available, however, there are still many cute selections you can order free with each $50 you order.  Stampin' Up! announced three waves of free selections you can get with each $50 to ensure you'll find something you'll love.  See the web post I sent earlier with the listing of these latest selections.

Popular card tin class filling fast

Registration now for the March 26 class.   We'll make eight different cards using Cool Treats & the Birthday Bash stamp sets and matching dies.  We'll also decorate our Sale-a-Bration tins as our 9th project.

We'll make birthday cards, thank-you cards, and general cards that you can use to celebrate someone special, or just let someone you love know you are thinking of them.  See more photos for this March 26 class on the Meetup site.

If you're interested in attending this class.  Please sign up on my Meetup site.  Please bring your Sale-A-Bration tins if you want to decorate and stamp your dividers.  If you missed getting a free tin with $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration, I'll have some you can purchase when you register. Stampin' Up! has sold out of these tins.
