Powder Pink Daisy and White Roses card

  • Daisy in Powder Pink and white embossing
  • New Daisy Punch
  • Upcoming class with Hello Lovely Project Life set

Powder Pink Daisy

I continued working with the new In Color Powder Pink again today.  I used both the Wood Woods stamp set and the Daisy Delight Stamp Set.  The delicate flowers from the Wood Woods stamp set and the Daisy are both heat embossed in White embossing powder.

The basecard is in Powder Pink, then a layer of Whisper White and then an image layer in Powder Pink.   The daisy is also stamped on Powder Pink cardstock and heat embossed in white.

The card is accented with a 1/2" Powder Pink Finely Woven Ribbon.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy, and the sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set.  The size of the Thank You in Rose Wonder was a better fit for my card than the Thank You from the Daisy Delight stamp set.

The close-up of the card below, shows the new Clear Faceted Gems used in the center of the flower.  The Daisy is actually a double layer.  The new Daisy punch was used to punch out the two Daisies which were layered together and popped up on a dimensional.  I also curled the edged of the Daisy with a bone folder to add a little curl to the Daisy.

Now I'm anxious to try this same card with Silver embossing and another version with Gold embossing.  I think both will be stunning!
