Spooky Night Treat Bag

I'm on a kick this week to crate Halloween treat packages using Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and the Spooky Cat stamp set.  Today I'm using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit with these new Halloween items that will be available to customers September 1 to create fun packaging to hold the new Treat Tubes, cookies, or other sweet treats for Halloween. I'm using another pattern from the Spooky Nights stamp set that I haven't played with yet.

The treat bag base is Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The bag pieces were glued together using Fast Fuse, which is stronger than snail and will hold your 3-dimensional projects better than snail.  One tag is Pumpkin Pie and cut using the banner in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits set.  The other tag is 1" wide and cut free hand.  Its also a pattern from Spooky Night DSP.  The Pumpkin Pie tag includes a pattern from the Pick a Pattern Washi Tap placed horizontally on the top and bottom, and another pattern from that Washi tap is run down the right side of the treat bag.

Treat Tubes fit nicely in this cute Halloween Treat Bag

The sentiment is from the Spooky Cat stamp set and is stamped in Basic Black Archival ink.  The potions are also from that set, and they are two-step sets.    The sentiment label is cut from Very Vanilla using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  The framelits set was also used to cut the Basic Black Scalloped backing for the tag.

The Treat Tubes will be available in the Holiday catalog, and fit nicely inside the treat bag.  The thick Jute twine around the top of the black jelly bean Treat tube is also new and will be available in the Holiday catalog Sept 1.

Fill treat bag with cookies, candies or the new treat tubes filled with sweets.

The tags include strands of the Black Mini Sequin Trim from the annual catalog and the new Basic Black Vintage Crochet Trim from the Holiday catalog.

My customers should have received their new Holiday Catalog by now.  Be sure to order your Halloween favorites as soon as new catalog ordering opens September 1 so you have plenty of time to make these cute projects for trick or treaters visiting you this year.

Here's what we're making in the Aug 27 class

You can still register for Aug 27 class where we'll make the 8 cards pictured below.  We'll make holiday cards and all-occasion cards as we move into back-to-school and the upcoming holiday season.  You'll play with new stamps, punches and die cuts and try some of the Holiday sets, including the Carols of Christmas set, which is an early release set you can purchase this month before the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog is released September 1.

Take a closer look at the projects we'll make in the Meetup Photo album for this class, and register for the class while you're vising my Meetup site.  The photo album includes individual photos of each card we'll make.
