- Exploring In Color June 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit

I really needed Father's Day card, so I decided to use the Exploring In Color June 2023 paper Pumpkin Kit to create the cards I needed. I began by cutting one of the scenery cards in half to use as two card front. I then used the Painted Texture 3D embossing Folder to create more texture on this piece of scenery. I used Balmy Blue Cardstock as basecards for my Father's Day cards, and used as much of the scenery image as possible with only a small border of Balmy Blue Cardstock along the sides of the scene. The I used one of the rectangles from the Timeless Arrangements Dies and die cut sentiment labels from Basic White cardstock. I used the Copper Clay ink spot in the Paper Pumpkin Kit to ink a sentiment from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit that said, Happy Father's Day. I used the twine in the kit behind my sentiment, and popped the sentiment up on Dimensionals. Then I added a few of the Copper Clay 2023-2025 In Color Dots to add a little bling to my card. On the inside of the card, I stamped the camping cup from the Stamp Set in this Paper Pumpkin Kit in the corner of my card. Now I'm ready to mail my card in the enclosed decorated envelopes that match the scenes on the card front. If you're looking for fast cards for Father Day or masculine birthday cards, this kit will save the day!
The basecard for today's card Balmy Blue Cardstock. Then I cut one of the scenery cards from the kit in half and used it as my card front image area. I cut it at 4 X 5-1/2" in order to preserve as much of the scenery as possible.
Before mounting the scenery piece, I ran it through the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder to give the scenery piece more texture.
I used one of the rectangle dies from the Timeless Arrangements Dies to create a sentiment label. I used the Copper Clay Ink Spot which was included in this kit, and stamped a sentiment from an older Paper Pumpkin Kit that fit this card perfectly. Then I added some of the twine included in this kit behind the sentiment label, and added a few 2023-2025 In Color Dots to complete my card.
