Heartfelt Blooms and Dragonflies
Today's project again uses my favorite Sale-A-Bration set from this year's collection of free gifts. If you missed yesterday's post, it is the Heartfelt Blooms set. This version using this set also used one of the free ribbon sets from Sale-A-Bration and uses a thinlit set from the Occasions catalog. The Thinlit set is Petals and More Thinlit Dies. You're probably going to see more samples using this set as I can't stop making samples with it. I'm just in love with this beautiful detailed set.
The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White. The accent layer is Bermuda Bay. Then another layer of Whisper White, stamped with the Heartfelt Blooms image in Bermuda Bay ink.
I choose the Sending Heartfelt Thoughts sentiment from this set. The set includes three beautiful sentiments. Its stamped in Basic Black ink on Whisper white and framed with a Bermuda Bay layer which is traced from the thinlit that was used to die cut the sentiment. The 1/8" Bermuda Bay ribbon is from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack, free with a $50 order from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
I created the dragonfly using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits. I used the Precision Base Plate to create the detail cuts of the dragonfly. Its cut from Bermuda Bay and then a subtle sparkle was created by covering the dragonfly with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
