I came across one of my Christmas Cards from last year and decided to CASE myself and redo the card with new stamp sets and papers from this year's Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. One more sneak peek at the wonderful papers and stamp sets coming your way from the Holiday Catalog customers can order from beginning September 5.
I know, I know. Most of you have already received your new Holiday Catalog from me, and your Wish List has grown over the past couple of days as you've looked through it and then looked through it again. Well, watch my web site as I highlight more and more items from the new catalog, to help you pass the time until customers can order. Or if you just can't wait and your Wish list has already grown past the $99 mark, sign up as a demonstrator this month and you'll be able to order from the new catalog immediately -- as part of your Starter Kit! This card was inspired by the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper I've highlighted on a card earlier this week. The berries and fir boughs are printed on this paper. I simply added a couple of the deer from the Dashing Deer stamp set and a bow. Then I used the Large Letter Framelit dies and cut out the word "NOEL", and popped them up on Foam Adhesive Strips creating an eclipse.
Directions for today's card:
- Thick Whisper White basecard
- Next layer is Merry Merlot
- Then the image layer is Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, stamped with the a image from the Dashing Deer.
- The deer were stamped in Merry Merlot ink directly onto the DSP
- The layer of Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper was then die cut using the Large Letter Framelit Dies spell out the word NOEL
- The letters are then popped up on Foam Adhesive Strips
- The bow was tied in a bow and then wrapped around the corner of the Merry Merlot and DSP before adhering the two top layers to the Thick Whisper White basecard.
- The bow is created out of the 3/8" Berry Burst Mini Ruffled Ribbon
