Valentine's card using Bloomin' Heart thinlit die from Stampin' Up!

  • Bloomin' Heart card
  • Two days to register for Valentine class
  • $50 order earns Free Sale-A-Bration selection

Bloomin' Heart Valentine

Here's another Valentine Card using the Bloomin' Heart thinlit die from Stampin' Up.  It's a card that can be used for Valentine's Day, a Wedding Congratulations, or an Anniversary depending on the sentiment you add to it.  And we're making this card as part of our class February 4.

The basecard is Powder Pink, as are the accent flowers on the heart.  The accent layer under the print is Berry Burst.  Then a layer of one of the prints from Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack.

The heart is die cut from Berry Burst cardstock using the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit.  I strongly recommend using your Precision Base Plate to get the cleanest cuts from this heart die due to the amount of detail in this die.  The sentiment is from the Sure Do Love You set and is stamped in Berry Burst ink.  Pearl Basic Jewels accent the center of each of the flowers.

Here I've paired the card with a cute treat box I've shown earlier using the 2 X 2 X 2" clear acetate box with caps from the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designers Series Paper pack.  This would make a cute set for your mom, or a favorite aunt.

Recipe:

Stamps:   Sure Do Love You
Ink:  Berry Burst
Paper:  Powder Pink, Berry Burst, Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Bloomin' Heart, Pearl Basic Jewels, Big Shot, Big Shot Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Big Shot Die Brush, Paper Snips, Bone Folder, Silicone Craft Sheet, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Stampin' Trimmer, Multipurpose Glue

Occasions catalog.

The class includes 3 full-size cards, three treat packages, and three of the new Stampin' Up! narrow note cards with matching envelopes.  You'll find so many uses for the Silver Mini Gable Boxes and the 2 X 2 X 2"clear plastic cubes.  The new Lots to Love Box Framelits Die creates the the Valentine treat box.  I'll be using the narrow note cards and the treat box other than for Valentine's Day.  This treat box  holds the new narrow note cards -- a perfect gift.

Blooming' Love Valentine Card

  • Another Bloomin' Love card
  • February 4 Valentine card class
  • Free Sale-A-Bration selections with each $50 purchase

Bloomin' Love Valentines

Here's another Valentine Card using the Bloomin' Love stamp set from Stampin' Up.  Its another eclipse card using the Large Letter thinlits.  I can't seem to get enough of this set or this technique.  It always receives a "wow!" from the recipient.  Yet it is one of the fastest cards to make.  Bloomin' Love is a set in the main catalog, not the Occasions catalog, which means it is a set that will remain after March 31.  I love this set not only for valentines, but also for wedding and anniversary cards.

The base on this card is Thick Whisper White.  The next layer is Berry Burst then a layer of Whisper White.

The small hearts is stamped in Powder Pink and the large hearts are stamped in Berry Burst.  Then the Whisper White layer is die cut using the Large eEtter's Framelit.

The letters are then popped up on Foam Adhesive Strips.

Adhere the stamped Whisper White layer and the Berry Burst layer.  Then tie a bow using the Metallic Edge Berry Burst Ribbon and adhere the ribbon to the edge of the layer.

Then add the top layers to the Thick Whisper White basecard.

Recipe:

Stamps:   Bloomin' Love

Accessories:  Large Letters Framelit Dies, Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon, Big Shot, Big Shot Platform, Standard Cutting Pads, Paper Snips, Bone Folder, Silicone Craft Sheet, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Stampin' Trimmer, Multipurpose Glue, Foam Adhesive Strips
