Stampin' Up! Christmas Gift Idea

I was soooo excited as I finished looking through all the items on the Year-End Closeout sale to find that a few surplus items from the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog made the Year-End Closeout sale.

The timing couldn't be better.  You're looking for easy hand made gift ideas, and with the What You Love Embellishment Kit and the 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon -- both at 50 percent off -- you can create a very thoughtful pack of Thank You cards for someone important to you for the Holidays.

Everyone needs Thank You cards following the holidays.  This card uses the Love What You Do Stamp Set, Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and items on Year End-Close out.  Create four of these cards, and then use the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit as a matching gift box for your 4 cards.

The die cut labels are from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.  I selected a Crumb Cake Base Card and added a strip of Rich Razzleberry cardstock on the left side of the card, and Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper for the majority of the card face.  This beautiful paper has a beautiful shimmer to the lighter-colored areas.

I used a piece of the 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon down the seam between the two paper.  The sentiment from Love What You Do is stamped on the die-cut label in Rich Razzleberry ink.

The cover of the Share What you Love Embellishment Kit matches the print in the designer series paper paper I chose for the card front.  And the box includes the Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart.    The embellishment kit includes two sizes of labels you can use on different projects, Tranquil Tide Bakers Twine, pearlized thread, adhesive backed metal roses, and Silver and Grapefruit Grove paper clips.  This is a beautiful box to use as a gift box after you remove the accessories. It holds your finished cards perfectly.

The best news is that the Share What You Love Accessory Kit is on Year-End Closeout at 50% off!  This normally $11.00 kit is on sale now for US$5.50, until supplies run out.  Item number 146928.

The other amazing item used to make this a stand-out Thank You card is the 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon,  I can't stop touching this beautiful ribbon.  Best news yet is that this ribbon is also on the Year-End Closeout list.  It, too, is 50 percent off.  This ribbon is normally $8.00, but if you purchase it between now and January 2 on the Year-End Closeout, you'll pay only US$4.00 for 10 yards of this gorgeous velvet ribbon.  Item number 147016.

Take advantage of the Year-End Closeouts and purchase these items to make a few Thank You card gift packs to have on hand as hostess gifts, for a special friend, or as a last-minute gift for your hair dresser or the UPS lady who delivers your Stampin' Up! order.

Before finalizing your order for these products, scroll through the Year-End Closeout items on my online store that are part of the Holiday Catalog Retiring products, and pick up those items you've had your eye on before they sell out.   To view other products in the Stampin' Up! product line that can be included in your total order, download both the annual and holiday catalogs

Stamping Up Butterfly Gala Sneak Peek

  • Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala
  • Stampin' Up! Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Sneak Peek
  • New Christmas Card Tutorial added to Tutorial Tab

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Sneak Peek

The cards I'm showing today are a sneak peak of a couple of new products Stampin' Up! will introduce in the Occasion catalog in early January 2019.  Demonstrators who attended Stampin' Up! OnStage event were able to order some of the Occasion catalog items early, and I received my preorder just before I left town for Thanksgiving.  So, I've been anxiously trying to free up my schedule now that I'm back to play with these new items.  Today got away from me, but I found a free hour at the end of the day to create my first cards using the Butterfly Gala stamp set and the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies.

I'm also using one of the new prints from the All My Love Designer Series Paper, another sneak peek at Occasion catalog items.

Butterfly Gala Stamp Set, Butterfly Beautiful Thinlits and All My Love Designer Series Paper

I created two versions of this card.  One is a Thank You card, which we're all likely to need as soon as Hanukkah or Christmas is finished.  The basecard is Berry Burst. Then a layer of Whisper White.  And then a layer of All My Love Designer Series Paper.  Both cards include a bow out of 3/8" Berry Burst Silver Metallic-Edged Ribbon.

The card above includes a sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set.  It is stamped in Smoky Slate ink on a Whisper White Oval using the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies. There are sooooo many different butterflies in the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Die set.  I selected a couple and die cut them in Silver Glimmer Paper and used on large and one small butterfly to accent the sentiment label.  I also added a couple of  Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets from the Holiday catalog.

The sentiment from this card is also from the Butterfly Gala.  The sentiment is punched using the Tailored Tag Punch.   The butterflies, again, are die cut from Silver Glimmer Paper using the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies.  This card also includes a Clear Epoxy Droplet.  Of course, you probably already know that January is also the beginning of Stampin' Up! best sale of the year - Sale-A-bration.  One of the free gifts with $50 order is a 12 X 12 pack of Designer Series Paper with 6 different butterfly prints that compliment the Butterfly Beauty dies.  I'll be showcasing this beautiful paper in upcoming posts.  I love that Stampin' Up! ha coordinated items from the Annual Catalog, the Occasions catalog and the free pick from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.
