Another Petal Promenade Card for Mother's Day or any Occasions

  • Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper
  • Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper
  • Final hours to sign up for the Beautiful Cards Class - April 28, 2019

Stampin' Up! Card with Petal Promenade

This is a really fast, easy card using the same colors and products as yesterday's cards including some of my favorite products that are on the Last-Chance Product list -- Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper and the Calypso Coral 3/8" ribbon.  I'm so sad to see these items retire.  You can still order them as long as supplies last or until June 3, whichever comes first.  Look through the Last-Chance Product Lists and order your favorites before they are gone.  You'll love having Petal Promenade on hand to create fast, easy, yet beautiful Spring cards.

The basecard for today's card is Petal Pink.  Then a layer of the Grapefruit Grove.  Then a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the Happy Mother's Day sentiment from Just Because Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo on a label cut using the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies, which have already sold out. I did another version of this card using a sentiment label from the Forever Lovely stamp set, which will carry over to the new catalog (yeah!). post.  The sentiments are both stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock.

The ribbon is folded under the sentiment and it is Calypso Coral 3/8" Satin Ribbon.  Each card is accented with Melon Mambo Glitter enamel dots in three different sizes.   I'm so happy these Glitter enamel dots will carry over to the new catalog.

If you love the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper as much as I do, rest assured that I will made additional cards with this paper before the new catalog is released.  I can't seem to stop playing with it.

Are you on my mailing list to receive a copy of the upcoming catalog?  If you've purchased from me in the past 6 months, you're already on my list.  If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list, which I'm finalizing in the next few days (April 30).  New catalogs will arrive towards the end of May, giving you time to put together your Shopping List so you'll be ready to order June 4.

Petal Promenade Mother's Day Card

  • Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper
  • Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper
  • Final days to sign up for the Beautiful Cards Class - April 28, 2019

Stampin' Up! Mother's Day Card

Today's cards include some of my favorite products that are on the Last-Chance Product list -- Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  I'm going to be so sad to see these items retire.  But you can still order them as long as supplies remain.  Make sure you look through the Last-Chance Product Lists and order your favorites before they are gone.  You'll love having Petal Promenade on had to create Spring cards you'll need for so many occasions.

The basecard for today's card is Petal Pink.  Then a layer of the Grapefruit Grove.  Then a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  And then one of the laser-cut designs from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper.  These papers are white on one side and vanilla on the other side.  I used the vanilla side for these cards.

I stamped the Happy Mother's Day sentiment from Just Because Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo on a label cut using the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies, which have already sold out.  Hint:  I cut the Happy Mother's Day sentiment apart from the image in the Just Because Stamp Set to make it easier to use just the Sentiment.   Don't wait if you want something on the Last-Chance Products list.  If it's something you want, order it sooner rather than risk it selling out.  I did another version of this card using a sentiment label from the Petal & More Thinlits Dies set, which is also on the Last Chance list, but it's still still available as of this post.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, and it is stamped on on the Very Vanilla label in Flirty Flamingo.

The bow is Calypso Coral 3/8" Satin Ribbon, tied in a double bow  and attached to the top of the card.  On the second version of the card, I die cut a Doily Builder Thinlits, another sold out item.  Are you seeing a pattern here?  You really want to look through the Last Chance items to make sure you don't miss something you meant to order.  An alternative die you could use in place of the Doily Builder is the flower form the Flourish set.

I've loved the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper since it was introduced a year ago in June.  I plan to make as many cards as possible to use both the Petal Promenade paper and the beautiful Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper before this favorite of mine is gone for good..

Need a copy of the upcoming catalog?  If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list, which I'm finalizing at the end of this month (April 30).  New catalogs will arrive towards the end of May, giving you time to put together your Wish List so you'll be ready to order June 4.

Come Sail Away Suite Sneak Peek from the upcoming Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog Release

  • Sailing Home Stamp Set from the Come Sail Away Suite
  • Samples using Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper
  • Grab your seat for the Beautiful Cards Class - April 28, 2019

Stampin' Up! Sailing Home Stamp Set

Today's Sneak Peek from the new 2019-2020 annual Stampin' Up! catalog uses the Sailing Home Stamp Set from the new Come Sail Away Suite.  I also the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies along with the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I'm IN MAD LOVE with our new style dies!!  They cut so smoothly and the detailed stitching is much more detailed than on our current dies.  The stitched details come out of the dies so easily and perfectly.  I can't wait to use more of these new dies!

I created a card based on one of the cards from the display boards at the San Antonio event and added my own creative twists.

The basecard for today's card is Night of Navy.  Then a layer of the coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper from the Come Sail Away Suite.  Then a banner of Cherry Cobbler dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, which will carry over to the new catalog. (Yeah!)

I stamped the sailboat and birds in Night of Navy on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock die cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  Then I use my White colored pencil to shade the sailboat sail white.  I used a label die from the Smooth Sailing Dies to create a die cut for the sentiment.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in Night of Navy.  Look closely at the stitched edges.  They came out of the die perfectly!

I created a second version of this card using another sentiment from the Sailing Home Stamp Set and stamped it in Night of Navy on a Very Vanilla Stitched Rectangle die cut.

We were introduced to this set during Stampin' Up! On Stage where we made the card on the right.  This suite has so many fun elements to work with, I can't wait to find more ways to use this set.  It includes sentiments that make this a perfect stamp set for creating great graduation cards, encouragement, Thanks you cards, and other very useful sentiment.  The coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies and the coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Papers will make this suite a delight to work with.

You'll find many ways to create with this new suite.  I'm sure your Pinterest Boards are growing with the addition of other new catalog sneak peeks you are seeing.  Be sure to add this to your Sailing Home Stamp Set board on Pinterest.

Love this new set from the upcoming catalog?  If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list, which I'm finalizing at the end of this month (April 30).  New catalogs will arrive towards the end of May, giving you time to put together your Wish List so you'll be ready to order June 4.
