Winter Gifts Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternative
I'm still playing with my November Paper Pumpkin Kits. This kit, called Winter Gifts, includes materials to make 24 Christmas Gift Tags, but I'm turning my tags into full-size Christmas Cards. I used elements for today's card from the kit and then added a Real Red basecard and a background pattern from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper. I love that I can create cards in minutes with my Paper Pumpkin Kit and a few additional supplies. Just what I need during the busy Holiday season when time is at a premium.
The basecard is Real Red cardstock. Then a layer of Soft Suede; and then a layer of one of the patterns from the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper Package.
The sled, deer, Real Red circle and sentiment labels are all from the November Paper Pumpkin Kit. I added a "handle" for the sled out of the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim. I added Dimensionals to the sled to give that element separation from the background. The snowflake is also a die cut from the Paper Pumpkin Kit and it is sparkly, which doesn't really show in the photos. I also added two silver sequins from the Kit.
For the sentiment, I created a banner out of Shaded Spruce behind one of the Whisper White die cut banners from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Kit in Shaded Spruce on the White banner.
Paper Pumpkin Kits have come a long way since they were first Introduced by Stampin' Up!
