Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper

Today's card is another using the beautiful Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Papers.  This is such a special paper pack.  I'm loving each print as I discover cardstock colors that pair with it perfectly.  I'm doing another Daisy Lane card today to ensure that you'll see how versatile the Daisy Lane  Stamp Set and coordinating punches can be.

This is a quick post due to everyone being busy with the holidays, but hopefully, you'll get a chance to read this post.  Why is the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper special:  It is a double paper pack.  Normally, our 12 X 12" paper packs include 12 sheets, two each of double sided designs.  The Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper pack includes 24 sheets!  Yes! Four each of double sided designs.  Perfect if you're a demonstrator and want to have plenty of paper for card classes.  Or if you're doing swaps with other stampers.  This paper pack is also lighter weight than our normal 12 X 12 Designer Papers, which makes it perfect for layering...and I can't say enough about the designs.  You'll find that this paper includes designs that will work with either masculine or feminine cards.  Woodgrains, Linen and Florals -- all in one paper pack.

Look how perfectly the new Rococo Rose
Scalloped Linen Ribbon matches this paper

The basecard on today's card is Rich Razzleberry.  Then a layer of Rococo Rose.  Then a layer of one of the floral prints from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Papers.  Take a look at the closeup of this print in the first photo above.  The texture is part of the print in this paper!

I created a bow using Rococo Rose 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon, one of the new ribbons that coordinate with the In Colors.  I created a sentiment layer using the Story Label Punch out of Very Vanilla.  I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry Ink.  I stamped a textured background under my sentiment in Crumb Cake stamped off twice using one of the stamps from the Tasteful Textures Stamp Set.  The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  I find myself reaching for the sentiments from that stamp set so often... It is definitely a stamp set to consider for your stash!

To create the Rich Razzleberry mat for my sentiment, I punched a label using the Story Label Punch, then cut it in half horizontally, and attached half to the sentiment top and half to the sentiment bottom.  Then I added an antique Designer Element as an accent to the sentiment.

Each card I've made with the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper is so unique.  You'll love the prints in this Specialty paper pack.   You'll Love What You Make with the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.
