Stampin' Up! New Catalog coming June 3

We're just day's away from the New Annual Catalog Release.  If you're a customer of mine, you've probably received your new catalog and can't wait for new catalog ordering to begin.

You'll be excited to learn Stampin' Up! is adding additional fulfillment center staff to speed your new order to you, but the Corona Virus has already been causing slower deliveries. Stampin' Up! has already given us a heads up on two fronts (1) orders during the Demonstrator preorders are ahead of forecasts.  I guess with everyone at home, we've all had more time to play in our craft rooms, as we send more cheerful cards to friends and family. (2) Stampin' Up! suppliers in both China and the USA are behind in fulfilling orders to Stampin' Up!.  Stampin' Up! factories in China are up and running, but Stampin' Up! is competing for Air Freight slots with many other companies that are behind due to the Corona Virus.  In the USA, paper and ink factories as well as Stampin' Up! Rubber Stamp manufacturing operations are seeing delays as operations are required to maintain social distancing, which often means only half the staff can work at any time.  Bottom line:  To avoid disappointment when ordering from the new catalog, placing your orders early is essential.  Ordering will open at 1:00 PM Central on June 3.  Mark your calendar, and set an alarm so you're ready to go when ordering begins.

Sneak Peek of Blossoms In Bloom from new Stampin' Up! Catalog

  • Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set
  • Many Layered Blossoms Dies
  • Sneak Peek of Stampin' Up! New In Colors

Stampin' Up! Blossoms In Bloom

Today I wanted to show you a sneak peek of the Blossoms In Bloom Bundle form the upcoming 2020-2021 annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.  This is one of the must-have sets from the new catalog because of how many wonderful sentiments are included in the set and the "wow" cards you'll create with this stamp set and coordinating dies.  I quickly water colored a piece of whisper White with an Aqua Painter with Pear Pizzazz to use as a base for the beautiful dies in this set.  Then I embossed one of the sentiments on a piece of Basic Black and the card was finished.  You can dress up this card using ribbons and embellishments and designer series paper, but I wanted to show how easy it is to make a wow card with just the dies and a little ink.

The basecard is Thick whisper White.  Then another layer of Whisper White.  I wanted to make sure the ink wouldn't bleed through to the inside of the card.  I used an Aqua Painter and Pear Pizzazz ink and simply painted a watercolor background to show through the open die cuts.

Then I used the Many Layered Blossoms Dies and die cut one  layer out of Pear Pizzazz and the other layer out of Old Olive cardstock.

The tip I'll pass on for successfully assembling the two Many Layers Blossoms Dies is to use your Silicon Craft Sheet and glue.  I use a sponge to apply the glue to te detailed outline layer and apply it to the fuller layer.  Then I used glue on the larger bottom layer to atteach it to the card from.

The sentiment is one of several available in this set.  I love that it includes so many different, but standard sentiments that you use all the time.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark, added White Stampin' Emboss Powder and set it with my heat Tool.  I popped the sentiment up on Dimensionals and added to the card front.

The Blossoms In Bloom Bundle is available now for Demonstrator pre-orders.  Customers can begin ordering this bundle on June 3, when the new catalog is released to all customers.

I had Stampin' Up! ship catalogs directly to my customers who have purchased from me in the past 6 month, and they are beginning to be delivered in the Houston, TX area.  If you live in the USA and don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, contact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
