For a sophisticated Christmas card your loved ones will cherish, consider the Stampin' Up! Pretty Poinsettia Bundle from the Stampin' Up!© July 2026 online exclusives.
This design features Poinsettia petals and leaves enhanced with the Impression plate, and uses nontraditional Crisp Cantaloupe colors.
For this card, the base card is Thick Basic White Cardstock cut at 4-1/4" X 11", scored and folded along the 11" side at 5-1/2".Next is a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock cut at 5" X 3-3/4", as a matte for a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Woven Textures Designer Series Papers. cut at 4-3/4" X 3-1/2". The image layer is a layer of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock cut at 4-1/8" X 2-7/8" creating a matte for the Basic White Cardstock cut at 3-15/16" X 2-3/4".
To create the floral images for the center panel, I'll begin with a tip. You are going to first cut your petal and leave with your Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. Then you are going to leave the die cut paper in the dies, flip them over and run them through your Cut and Emboss Machine again. This creates the puffy ridges on your petals and leaves. Tip: If you know you will create a large batch of Christmas Cards using the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle, I recommend saving yourself time by ordering a second set of Pretty Poinsettia Dies. Using a 8-12 X 5-1'2 sheet of Crisp Cantaloupe and an 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" Old Olive you can create the two Poinsettia flowers and two leaves sets at once, saving time you'll enjoy using elsewhere.Use Gold Foil Sheet scraps to die cut centers for your flowers.Using Old Olive Ink, stamp pine leaves from the Pretty Poinsettia Stamp Set before attaching your die cuts to the card front. Once your Poinsettia leaves and flowers are die cut, use a bone folder to curl your leaves and flowers slightly for a more realistic look before assembling your flowers, and attaching flowers and leaves to the card front. I used Dimensionals under both the large and small Poinsettia before attaching them to the card front.Stamp the sentiment in Timid Tiger ink using a sentiment from the Pretty Poinsettia Stamp Set.
