Floral Birthday card using Stampin' Up! Posted for You Stamp Set and Rectangular Postage Punch

I love how this card turned out!  When I first saw the Posted For You Bundle in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog, I couldn't wait to find a way to use it.  But it sat on my work surface, taunting me for a couple of months before I finally sat down to create with it.  I'm so glad I did.  I'm so happy with the way this card turned out.  Soft Suede and the In Color, Misty Moonlight, are a delicious color combination.   I used the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder, the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and Tasteful Labels Dies to create the elements on this card.

The basecard for this card is Soft Suede cardstock dry embossed with the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder.  I ran it through my new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, which will be available to customers beginning in September..  Then, I layered Misty Moonlight Cardstock, Brass Foil Sheets, and one of the Misty Moonlight prints from the 2020-2022 In Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Papers.

For images, I selected a stamp from the Posted For You Stamp Set.  I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to Punch 3 Whisper White Rectangles.  Then I stamped the image from the Posted For You Stamp Set onto each rectangle.  I used Light Blends in Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, and Crumb Cake to color the images.  I used the Stampin' Blends Color Lifter to lighten the flowers.

I selected a sentiment from the Posted For You Stamp Set, die cut a stitched label for my sentiment using the Tasteful Labels Dies, and stamped the sentiment onto the Whisper White label using Misty Moonlight ink.

The three images and the sentiment were all popped up on Dimensionals before adding them to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Snarky, Mischievous Way To Goat Stamp Set

  • Way To Goat Stamp Set

Stampin' Up! Way To Goat Stamp Set

I'm in love with the Old Goats!  The snarky, sly, and mischievous expressions on their faces are priceless.  You'll love making up your own scenes with these roguish goats.  You can't go wrong with this stamp set.  Today's card used Textured Essentials as a background element, along with two of the three snarky goats from the way to Goat Stamp Set.  A little Linen Ribbon and some Sea Foam Spray cardstock and this card came together very quickly!

Card idea using Way To Goat Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

The basecard for this card is Thick Whisper White.  Then a Seaside Spray cardstock layer, and then the image layer is Whisper White. I stamped one of the textures from the Textured Essentials in Seaside Spray behind the goats.  Then I stamped both goats in Tuxedo Black Memento, fussy cut them, and colored them with Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. I stamped several cans, another image from the Way To Goat Stamp Set, and colored them also with Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment, one of several from the Way To Goat Stamp Set, is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  A band of Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon accents the card front behind the goat images.

I'm Attending Leadership Summit August 27-29

My husband and I puzzled all day about a package scheduled to arrive via UPS.  Neither of us could pinpoint anything we had ordered recently.  It arrived around 7:45 pm, and my husband reluctantly handed it over to me once he retrieved it from the front porch.  We both like getting surprise packages.  I was floored when I begin to unwrap the package.  It was a large, iconic blue box from Tiffany's!

He waited patiently while I carefully unwrapped the package, and I was surprised to find two beautiful crystal Champaign flutes along with a note from Stampin' Up!;  "See you at Leadership Summit"   This event was originally scheduled as a live event, and was moved to a Online event as the virus spread in March & April.  I remember the agenda included a "welcome reception, including a welcome toast", and now I can't wait to use these beautiful Champaign flutes as part of the event later this month.  My husband was very impressed, after he learned I had used FLEX points to pay for the event, and that the Champaign flutes were a surprise gift.  In fact, it took me a while to pry the second Champaign flute out of his fingers.  He thought they were beautiful!  I love the way Stampin' Up! makes us feel special...even when we can't be together in person.

This event features training on business development, personal development and leadership and includes keynote speakers, Brenda Ster and Lisa Carmen.  Brenda Ster is a social Marketing Strategist, and Lis Carmen is a USA National Champion and Hall of Fame Gymnast turned Serial Entrepreneur, Investor, Writer, and Executive Coach to Powerful Female Leaders.  I'm so excited to qualify to attend this exciting program later this month!.
