No Matter The Weather March Paper Pumpkin

As we anxiously await the special May 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit with some of the new  In Color elements, I'm still finishing up the extra Paper Pumpkin Kit I ordered when the refills were offered in March.  The sentiments and images in this kit are so appropriate for right now that I can't stop making cards with this kit.  I often turn the note-cad size card kits into full-size cards, which is what I did with this kit. I saw a version like the card on the right and decided to case it an try another version with wider stripes.

The basecard for my cards is Petal Pink.  Then I cut the front of one of the note card-size cards with gray clouds into strips and layered them down the front of the card.  I added the boots and flower die cuts from the kit onto Dimensionals and popped them onto the card front.

For the sentiment, I used one of the stamps from the two sets included in this kit and die cut a stitched circle in Whisper White.  I used Basic Gray ink to stamp the sentiment.  To accent the card, I added the Epoxy Raindrops that came with the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  (Sooo cute)  Then I used the back of the card front, which ended up being a beautiful Whisper White, for the inset inside of my card, where I can write a message.

Paper Pumpkin kits are such a great tool to have on hand weather you want to make a fast card using the instructions in the kit,  and the video released with each kit, or if you want to get creative and use the kit elements to create alternative cards using your own design.

I love making up the extra cards in each Paper Pumpkin kit to keep on hand so I'm ready to send a quick note to a family member or friend whenever I sense that someone could use a bit of cheering up. I cant' wait to see what creative ideas Stampin' Up! includes in each new, monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Take a look at the special kit coming up in June (see below), and give Paper Pumpkin a try.
