I'm still playing with the Translucent Florals Stamp Set and Dies and the Delightful Florals Designer Series Paper which can only be found on the Stampin' Up! Website under Online Exclusives. Today I'm using a color theme of Basic White, Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Parakeet Party, and the colors in one of the prints from the Stampin' Up! Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper. I'm using prints from the new Delightful Florals Designer Series Papers and from the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper Pack I'm trying to use up. I also used the Translucent Floral Dies to die cut the translucent Berry Burst floral for the front of my card. I used a sentiment from the translucent Florals Stamp Set on one of my cards and a sentiment from the Darling Details Stamp Set on my second card. I stamped leaves and stems using Parakeet Party Ink, and added Melon Mambo Solid Faceted Gems as accents.
The 8-1/2" X 5-1/2" basecard for this card is Thick Basic White Cardstock, and is folded at 4-1/4" to create a 4-1/4" X 5-1/5" basecard. The front panel is folded back onto itself. A 2" X 5-3/8" piece of Fresh Freesia checked paper from the retired Dandy Designs 12" X 12" Paper Pack is placed on the folded-back panel. Another 2" X 5-3/8" piece of the same Designer Series Paper is placed on the inside panel. A 4" X 5-1/2" piece of a print from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper is placed on the inside back panel.
Next, I created a 2-3/4" X 3-34" image area of Basic White Cardstock matted with a 3" X 4" piece of Berry Burst Cardstock. I stamped a largest floral from the Translucent Florals Stamp set in Berry Burst Ink onto a scrap piece of Basic white Cardstock, and use the corresponding die from the Translucent Florals dies to die cut it. then on the Basic white panel, I stamped a stem and then stamped leaves from the translucent Florals Stamp set using Parakeet Party Ink. I popped up the floral and added it to the image area.
To finish my cards, I stamped sentiments -- one from Translucent Florals Stamp Set, the other from Darling Details Stamp Set -- in Berry Burst ink. Then I added retired Solid Faceted Gems as accents. You'll enjoy having these floral greeting cards on hand to use for birthday, thinking-of-you, or other occasions.
