Sneak Peek of the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set from the upcoming Annual Catalog

  • Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals and Penned Flowers Dies
  • Scalloped Contours Dies
  • Clearance Rack Refresh with Discounts up to 60%

Here's a new bundle from the upcoming Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog, which will launch 4 May 2021.  Its called Hand-Penned Petals, and it has a coordinating sent of dies called Penned Flowers Dies.  This is a great stamp set for a new stamper since it includes stamps that not only stamp the flower outline image, but the stamp set also includes separate stamps for stamping the flower petals and leaves as well. I used these stamps to stamp the flowers petals using the new Pale Papaya ink pad.  Then I used Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color the leaves.  I added a sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, and a bow in the new Pale Papaya shade.  More details below.

The basecard for these cards is Thick Basic White.  Then a layer of Basic White dry embossed using the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I die cut a scalloped image layer using the Scalloped Contours Dies, another new set of dies from the upcoming Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.

I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the bottom left of the Scalloped Basic White layer.  Then I adhered it to the Basic White Embossed layer and added a bow using the 3/8" Open Weave Pale papaya Ribbon.

Two floral handmade greeting cards using the Hand-Penned Suite from Stampin' Up!

I stamped the flower image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, used the petals and flower stamps to add the Pale Papaya ink to the flowers.  Then I used Granny Apple Green Blends to color the leaves.  I used the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies to die cut the flower.  I added dimensionals to the flower before adding it to my card front.  I added a small Pale Papaya Genial Gems as an accent.

Craft items used to make handmade greeting cards

You'll love the entire Hand-Penned Suite, which includes the stamp set, coordinating dies, the Hand-Penned 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper and the Genial Gems--all from the upcoming Annual Catalog.  I love simple coloring options offered in this set.  For a new stamper, who is still building their Stampin' Blends Marker set, adding different colors using stamps and ink pads give you a wider range of options.  Your friends or family will love receiving a special handmade card like this with all the extra touches.   Add the Hand-Penned Suite (155503) Suite to your shopping list.  Then on 4 May 2021 when the new annual catalog launches, order it from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.
