- Another Valentine card using Stampin' Up! Adoring Hearts

Today I'm showcasing another fun Valentine card idea using the Stampin' Up! Adoring Hearts Dies and the Most Adored 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper. This Specialty Designer Series Paper is a Free Sale-A-Bration selection with a touch of elegance, as one side includes images with gold foil accents. The inspiration for this card came from a card on page 9 of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Of course, I had to put my own spin on the card. I used a color theme of Pool Party, Real Red, Basic White, and Flirty Flamingo along with Gold Foil to make this card stand out. I used the Dies from Adoring Hearts Die to die cut hearts from a Flirty Flamingo print and a Real Red print from the Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper. I also selected a small floral print with Gold Foil images to cover the entire front of my card. I use a large blending brush to blend Pool Party ink over the gold foil print to create a Pool Party layer. Then I created a Basic White Image area and matted it with Gold Foil Sheets. I arranged the die cut hearts, added a gold cord bow, gold sequins and a die cut of the word "Love" from the Love of Spring Dies, a Paper Pumpkin add on that works with the January, February and March Paper Pumpkin Kit. And, I think it works beautifully on today's Valentine card! Purchasing from the January - April Min Catalog is now underway, as well as the earning period for Sale-A-Bration. The basecard for this card is Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then a layer of one of the gold foil floral prints from the Most Adored 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, which I used to completely cover the front of the card I used a large blending brush to color this gold foil print layer with Pool Party ink. Next I cut a piece of Basic white Cardstock to use as my image area. The image area layer is bordered with Fold Foil Sheet.
To make this card stand out, I used the heart dies from the Adoring Dies and die cut hearts from one of the Flirty Flamingo prints and one of the Real Red prints from the Most Adored 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, a free selection from the Sales-A-Bration Brochure. I die cut 3 of each print for a total of 6 hearts to use on my image area.
Finally, to add a touch of luxury to my card, I used more gold and gold foil accents. I added a gold cord bow using trim from the Simply Elegant Trim package, and gold sequins from the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins pack. Then I backed a piece of Gold Foil Sheet with Adhesive Sheet, and used the Love of Spring Dies to die cut the word "Love", to add to my card. The Love of Spring dies is an add-on that is available for purchase now. It coordinates with the Paper Pumpkin January, February and March Kits, and works perfectly with Valentine Cards. Take a close look at the Love of Spring Dies below.
