Continuing the countdown to the Holidays by planning your Holiday Card strategy so you have time to hand make cards for those you love.  Make these cards to see what you like, and order your supplies so you'll be relaxed as these wonderful holidays draw near.

The art of effective holiday planning is to avoid wasting time and stressing out.  We'll help you with your holiday card making as we create these cards, which you can use as samples or templates to make more holiday cards on your own.  

In this class, we'll make the cards in the photo below.  Six full-size cards where you'll try new stamp sets, papers, and embellishments from the Stampin' Up! catalogs to see which will become your favorites.  These are great handmade cards to use when you want to send a special message to friends, or family.  See how fast and easily you can dress up your cards with die cuts, punched elements, accessories and holiday papers.

Paper Pumpkin Winter Wonders

Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin October Kit

I couldn't wait to start assembling my October Paper Pumpkin Winter Wonders Kit.  These beautiful cards include such easy-to-assemble die cuts, and I fell in love with the typeface Stampin' Up! used on the sentiments.  Everything about these cards make them so easy to assemble, and the perfect cards for the Holiday greetings to those you want to remember over the holidays.  
     
  




The 10 cards included in the kit also include matching silver foil-edged envelopes with a wood insert. This matches the silver-foil around the sentiment and the wood strip under the sentiment.   



  



The kit includes basecards printed with the Pine Trees.  The stamp set included as part of this kit includes the snowy dots and a Night of Navy ink spot.  I stamped off once before stamping the snowy dots onto the card background.  Then, you overlay the image with the tree die cuts.


The sentiment label is a foil-lined die cut included in the kit, and the stamp set includes two sentiments that work with this label.  I think the type chosen for these sentiments is a step above many of the typefaces included in our stamp sets, which makes the Paper Pumpkin kits a bit special. The red birds are also die cuts included in the kit, along with the white snowflakes added above the trees.   

    

This image, above, show you the additional sentiment included in this Paper Pumpkin kit.  I think it is just lovely.  The snowflake stamped in the corner is yet another stamp included in this kit.  

I created the card per the kit instructions.  However, I can't wait to try a few other ideas suggested by Stampin' Up!.  Now I'm really looking forward to the matching tag kit, which is the November Paper Pumpkin Kit.  If you haven't ordered your Paper Pumpkin Kit yet, you can order the kits month to month, or as a 3 month, 6 month or a yearly subscription.    I look forward to my kit every month!
