Country Floral Embossing Folder and Introducing the Story Label Punch

  • Introducing the new Story Label Punch - available March 1
  • Country Floral Embossing Folder for fast, beautiful cards
  • Seats remain for March 3 Class Embossing Folders Technique class

Stampin' Up! Country Floral Embossing Folder

I can't stop using the new Country Floral Embossing Folder, and today, I've mixed it with a brand new Sale-A-Bration Coordination product that will be available tomorrow morning -- March 1-- the new Story Label Punch.  Haven't heard about the Sale-A-Bration Coordinating products yet?  Well, get set to heat up the Sale-A_Bration party, with new products that coordinate with select Sale-A-Bration items.  Visit my Stampin' Up! store tomorrow morning to see all of the new Sale-A-Bration Coordinating products.  And just one word or advice...if you see something you want, be sure to order it right away.  You've seen how fast the Stampin' Up! free selections have sold out this year.  You won't want to miss the opportunity to grab these wonderful, new products that will coordinate with the Sale-A_Bration items you've already ordered.  These new items will only be available until March 31, 2019...so don't wait.

Today I've created another card with the Country Floral Embossing Folder, the new Story Label Punch, and used four different colors of Blends Markers to create this colorful card.

I used a basecard of Calypso Coral, dry embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Then I added a layer of So Saffron.  Then I embossed a layer of Whisper White with Country Floral Embossing Folder.

The embossed Whisper White background is colored with alcohol-based Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Highland Heather Blends Markers.

Then, I created a heat-embossed sentiment layer using the new Story Label Punch (150076) (available March 1 - March 31).  Each card shows a different sentiment, as I wanted to show that this punch will fit many different size sentiments.  I punched one sentiment label out of Gorgeous Grape and another with Highland Heather.  The sentiments are from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set and from the Just Because stamp set.  Both were embossed with white embossing powder.   I cut the Gorgeous Grape punched label in half horizontally, and glued it to the back of the Highland Heather layer as a mat.

I added a piece of Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon under the punched label and added Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment piece before layering it on top of the ribbon.

Story Label Punch (150075) from Stampin' Up!

You're sure to find lots of uses for the new Stampin' Up! Story Label Punch and the Country Floral Embossing Folder as you coordinate your cards with your new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration items...including the new Sale-A-Bration Coordinating items being introduced March 1.  Be sure to visit my store to see all of these new items and place your order for these limited-time items while they last.  Place a $50 order for coordinating items, and pick the Country Floral Embossing Folder as your free Sale-A-Bration selection from the Sale-A-Bration Brochures.

Stampin' Up! Country Floral Embossing Folder

Introduced as part of the second release of Stampin' Up! free Sale-a-Bration selections, the new Country Floral Embossing Folder helps you create, fast, easy cards that look like you spent hours making them.  This is one of the Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders -- thicker than normal embossing folders -- that leaves deeper impressions in your card stock.  These deeper impressions are beautiful by themselves, or they can be inked with daubers, sponges, or markers for extra impact. This is one of the cards we'll make in the March 3 card class--see more below-- and you'll enjoy using different embossing folders to create more texture on your card.

I used a basecard of Calypso Coral, then another layer of Whisper White dry embossed with the Country Floral Embossing Folder.  Then I created a banner of Calypso Coral and dry embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder, from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog

The embossed Whisper White background is colored with alcohol-based Calypso Coral Blends Markers and Light Soft Sea Foam Blends Markers.  Then Clear Rhinestones are added to some of the Soft Sea Foam flower centers, adding a bit of sparkle.

The circle for the sentiment is die cut using the Stitched Framelits dies out of Whisper White  A sentiment from the Dear Doily Stamp Set is stamped in Calypso Coral.

I tied a piece of the 3/8" Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon into a double bow and added it to the top edge of the sentiment. I love working with Embossing Folders because they look impressive, with very little effort.

You're sure to find lots of uses for the Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! Tin Tile Embossing Folder

  • Stampin' Up! Tin Tile Embossing Folder
  • Painted Seasons Bundle from the 2nd Sale-Bration-Release
  • Join us March 3 for Embossing Folders Technique class

Stampin' Up! Tin Tile Embossing Folder

I was so excited when Stampin' Up! released the carry-over list from the Holiday catalog late last year and learned that the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder was on that list.  Than I went ga-ga over all the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration products and my poor Tin Tile Embossing Folder was move further and further back in my embossing folder file.  When I planned my upcoming March 3 Embossing Folder class, I originally planned to only showcase the new Country Florals embossing folder from the 2nd release of Sale-A-Bration Selections, but I stumbled across the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and I just couldn't resist making a card with this beautiful embossing folder and paired it with images from the new Painted Seasons Stamp Set.  I hope you fall in love with this embossing folder all over again the way I did.

I used a basecard of Crumb Cake, then another layer of Crumb Cake dry embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  I then used a Sponge Dauber and enhanced the embossing with Crumb Cake ink.

Then I tried several different die cuts, and by the time I settled on which to use, I had built a beautiful layered sentiment area using dies from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Die Set, the Stitched Framelit Dies, the Detailed Trio Punch and a new punch that will become available to customers in just a few days (March 1) called the Story Label Punch, which is meant to coordinate with Sale-A-Bration items.  The final accent is the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim--another carryover from the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog

I used a Very Vanilla Die cut from Wonderful Florals Framelits as the base for my sentiment layer.  Then a Rich Razzleberry Die cut from the Stitched Framelits Dies. Then the sentiment from Butterfly Gala is stamped on a Very Vanilla layer punched out with the Story Label Punch. The edges of the punched sentiment layer is decorated using the Detailed Trio punch. The Old Olive leaves are die cut using the dies from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies.  Then, I stamped the two flowers from the Painted Seasons Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry Ink onto Very Vanilla,  Although there is a new Four Seasons Framelits Dies set becoming available March 1, I don't' yet have it, and found I could quickly fussy cut my flowers for my two cards.   However, for making several more of these cards, I intend to order these coordinating dies as soon as possible.   I love working with Embossing Folders because they look impressive, with very little effort.

You're sure to find lots of uses for the Stampin' Up! Tile Tin Embossing Folder as you coordinate your cards with your new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration items...including the new items from the second release of Sale-A-Bration selections.   Place a $50 order today, and pick a free Sale-A-Bration selection from the Sale-A-Bration Brochures.

Stampin' Up! Country Florals Embossing Folder

  • Stampin' Up! Country Florals free Sale-A-Bration Selection
  • Embossing Folders create fast, easy cards
  • Embossing Folders Technique class March 3

Stampin' Up! Country Florals Embossing Folder

Today's card showcases one of the Embossing Folder techniques I'm using in my March 3 card class.  More info below.  It uses the newly released, free Sale-A-Bration selection -- the Stampin' Up! Country Florals Embossing Folder. This stunning embossing folder is one of the Dynamic Textured Embossing Folders, which is thicker than the traditional embossing folders and creates thicker embossed images.  That means the flowers and leaves in this embossing folder show up very nicely.  Paired with the Soft Sea Foam cardstock, this embossing folder creates a beautiful background for a simple, fast greeting card. The Country Florals embossing folder is a free selection from the second-release Sale-A-Bration Brochure which you can download here.

I used a basecard of Soft Sea Foam, then a layer of Whisper White.  Before I ran the Whisper White layer through the Country Florals Embossing folder and Big Shot, I inked the side of the folder with the Stampin' Up! logo with Soft Sea Foam ink.  Then I inserted my Whisper White Layer and ran it through the Big Shot.

Then I tied a length of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon into a triple-looped bow and looped the ends around the back side of the embossed layer.

I selected a sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and then selected two Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies that fit this sentiment.  Using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, I cut a mat of Granny Apple Green for a Soft Sea Foam layer, which was cut with the a smaller Rectangle Die.  The sentiment was stamped in Granny Apple Green Ink.  This card takes just minutes to create and is perfect when you need a thank you card or birthday card but don't have a lot of time.  I love working with Embossing Folders because they look impressive, with very little effort.

You're sure to find lots of uses for the Stampin' Up! Country Florals Embossing Folder this spring.  Place a $50 order today, and this can be your free Sale-A-Bration selection from the Sale-A-Bration Brochures.
