Tranquil Tulips Set
I have a new favorite stamp set. I LOVE this new two step-stamp called Tranquil Tulips. Some stamp sets are a struggle to work with to get everything just right. Not this set. It was easy, fun and I love, love, love the card I created with this set! I just couldn't stop stamping when I made this card. I made a another, and another and then I stamped envelopes to match. It was a gooood stampin' day.

Although this is a two step stamp, unlike many of our other two - step and three-step stamp sets, you can use the same ink color for both steps. The stamp creates the lighter and darker shade...no need to pull out a second color or stamp off to create the lighter color. I'm in love with this new stamp! The tulip heads are stamped in Berry Burst and the stems are stamped in Old Olive, and I loved that one of the stem stamps includes the three stems as a single stamp, which reduces stamping time. The set also includes individual stems giving you lots of choices for using this set.
I used Old Olive for my base card, then a background layer of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, and the image block is Whisper White.
The sentiment is from the Climbing Orchid set, and it is stamped in Berry Burst ink.
The ribbon is 3/8" Old Olive mini Chevron Ribbon. I had 9-1/2 " of ribbon left on the end of a spool and I was amazed that I was able to embellish two cards with that small amount of ribbon.
This Tranquil Tulips set is a hostess set, which means it can only be purchased with a $150 order -- well worth it to be able to create these wonderful tulips.
