Stampin' Up! Card-Making Class


Here's your chance to catch up on your card making in an afternoon.  Make these cards during our Occasions card class an you'll be ready to stay in touch with family and friends this spring.  Why not show them how much you care by creating handmade cards to celebrate special birthdays, let someone know your thinking of them, or sending that cute Easter greeting card?

Join us for our January 24 card making class.  These cards all use new stamp sets, dies, punches and papers from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog, and if you place a $50 or $100 between now and March 31, you'll earn a free selection from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  And with the 2nd release of Sale-a-Bration selections, you're sure to want to add something from  this release to your current supplies.

Night in Bethlehem stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Night in Bethlehem Stamp Set 


I created this card last month for a swap and forgot to post it on my blog.  So I got lucky today as the day kind of got away from me and I didn't have time to create a new project.  I was so happy when I saw this card poking out from a messy pile on my work space.  I really liked working with this stamp and die set and this is a great time to order it and get a start on your Christmas Cards.  Take a closer look at the cards made with Night in Bethlehem Stamp Set.        

  



The basecard is Night of Navy cardstock.  The next layer is Whisper White.  Then a layer of Crumb Cake.      

I die cut the city out of Whisper White and Night of Navy using the Bethlehem Edgelits, which coordinates with this stamp set.  I used a small piece of white for the Mary and Jesus images, stamped them in Night of Navy, and die cut them with the edgelits. 
   




The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy in the lower right.  The stars in the sky are stamped in Crumb Cake.  The largest star and a couple of the smaller stars are embellished with small, Gold Metallic Pearls.

Learn-to-Stamp Class - Choose AM or PM Oct 8


New to stamping and card making?  Join us for Coffee and Cards and make these cute cards with step by step instructions.  You'll learn about classic rubber stamps, photopolymer stamps, the purpose of different inks and when to use them, embossing folders and Big Shot die cutting machine, and coloring stamped images with alcohol-based Blends Markers. You'll have a great time crafting!
