Stampin' Up! Lovely Lattice

  • Stampin' Up! Lovely Lattice - free Sale-A-Bration selection
  • Gingham Gala 6 X 6" Designer Series Paper
  • Join Stampin' Up!;  New Demonstrators select $175 in products for $99

Stampin' Up! Lovely Lattice Stamp Set

I was looking back over cards we've made in January classes and I realized that I hadn't posted this card on my blog.  It is such a fast, simple card to create that you'll want to give this one a try.  And the best thing about this card is that you can earn the Lovely Lattice stamp free as a Sale-A-Bration selection with a $50 order.  The papers are from the Occasions catalog and you can view all of the free Sale-A_Bration Selections in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure

I used a basecard of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  Then I lightly laid the strip of Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper on the left side of my card so I would know where to stamp the Lovely Lattice image.  I stamped the Lovely Lattice image in Tuxedo Black Memento and colored it with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends Markers,.  I used a Dark Mango Melody Blends Marker, a carry-over from the Holiday catalog, to deepen the color in the center of the larger flowers.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the lower portion of the card front.

A free Sale-A-Bration pick with a $50 order makes a beautiful card

The strip of Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala 6 X 6" Designer Series Paper was then added to the side of the card after wrapping the tails of the Daffodil Delight Organdy Ribbon onto the back side of the gingham ribbon.

The Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack (item 149623) was one of the most popular Sale-A-Bration items ever, with thousands of packages selected as free Sale-a-Bration items by both demonstrators and customers.  In fact, it has exceeded Stampin' Up! forecasts.  Although Stampin' Up! is filling back orders already placed with a second large shipment of the Ribbon Combo Packs, no new orders can be placed until sometime in March.  Once it is turned on again, it will be available while supplies last only.  I'll post an alert as soon as its available.  Until then, here's what I suggest.  Use the 1/8" Sheer Whisper White Ribbon (144172) pp 201 of the annual catalog, and color it with your Daffodil Delight Blends.  You'll have a beautiful ribbon to match your card.

Just a quick reminder, Sale-A- Bration runs from January through March 31, and because of the fabulous sign up special for new demonstrators along with the wildly popular products introduced with the introduction of the Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure, we're seeing a few more back orders than normal.  However, Stampin' Up! has large quantities arriving to fill most of these back orders, so feel comfortable placing an order, even if it is on back order.  Most of the back ordered items are arriving in early to mid February, giving you plenty of time to use them on your Spring cards and projects.  There are a couple of punches -- the Cake Builder Punch and the Butterfly Duet Punch-- that are sold out with estimated availability TBD.  However, both of these punches will carry over to the new Annual Catalog in June.  As soon as we hear something definite about availability of these two punches, I'll let you know.

As always, if you like something you see, order it as early as possible to ensure it doesn't sell out. Also, Stampin' Up! will introduce several new Sale-A_Bration selections.  Demonstrators can pre-order these new items February 1, which is another great reason to consider signing up to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator today!

Need to place on order, today?  Remember that each $50 order earns you a free Sale-A-Bration selection.  Today's Lovely Lattice stamp set would make a great, free Sale-A-Bration selection with your $50 order.

You CAN put lipstick on a Frog; if you use the So Hoppy Together Stamp Set

  • Stampin' Up! Valentine Frogs from So Hoppy Together Stamp Set
  • Put a little lipstick on your So Hoppy Frog
  • Become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and select $175 in products for $99

Stampin' Up! So Hoppy Together

Back in December, I created a fun card with the Stampin' Up So Hoppy stamp set.  Today I reworked the card with sentiments from the Forever Lovely stamp set and the Meant to Be Stamp Set so I could use the card for Valentines.  The So Hoppy set is a free Sale-A-Bration selection.  What's Sale-A-Bration?

Sale-A-Bration is a special sale Stampin' Up! holds during Jan - Feb - March, where each $50 or $100 purchase earns you free selections from Sale-A-Bration merchandise from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  The Forever Lovely set and Be Mine Stitched Dies are from the Occasions catalog and the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series paper with the flies used on these cards are from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog

Add lipstick to your frog from So Hoppy Together Stamp Set

I used a basecard of Granny Apple Green, then a layer of Basic Black.  Then a layer of a print from the Tea Room Specialty designer series paper that I remembered had flies or bees as part of its background -- perfect for my little green froggie.

Valentine card using the Stampin' Up! So Hoppy Together Stamp Set

I die cut a stitched Whisper White rectangle using the new set of Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (bottom of page 28 in the new Occasions catalog).  Then I set up my Stamparatus with the little bugs images, the frog image and the sentiment stamp, all on a single Stamparatus plate so that I could stamp all three at one time in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.   Then I used the light and dark Granny Apple Green Blends alcohol-based markers to color the little bugs and the frog.  I used Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add eyelashes to the frog, and I used a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker to add lips to the frog.

The hearts were die cut out of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets (149712), a free selection from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, using the multi-hearts die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies (148527).

Turn your Stampin' Up! So Hoppy Together card into a Valentine card

Want to make So Hoppy Valentines?  Order these items used in today's card for a free Level 1 pick.  That will earn you the So Hoppy Together (149725) stamp set as your free selection.

Stampin' Up! Valentine Pillow Box Treat Holders

I'll bet you're going to need a few pillow box treat holder to Valentine's Day gifts.  And we've got you covered.  Pillow Box Treat Holders are great for candies, gift cards or other small gifts.  The Stampin' Up! Kraft Pillow Boxes (147018) and the All My Love Suite from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog, which includes the Forever Lovely Stamp Set the coordinating Lovely Flowers Edgelit Dies and the All My Love Designer Series Papers are items you'll want to order soon, so you have time to make these fun treat holder.

I made three versions of the Kraft Pillow Boxes, each using a different print from the All My Love Designer Series Papers.  I also used a flower and a sentiments from the Forever Lovely Stamp Set, and die cuts from both the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies, and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  The Forever Lovely set, Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies, and Be Mine Stitched Dies are from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog.

Valentine's Treat Holders using Kraft Pillow Boxes and Forever Lovely Bundle

The Kraft Pillow Boxes are from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  I used the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheet, a free gift from the Sale-A-Bration brochure with a a $50 order as the base for the design.  You can see the simmer of this lovely foil in the photo below.

The next layer is one of the prints from the All My Love Designer Series Paper  Then I die cut one of the stitched hearts from coordinating papers colors to match each print using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  Then I stamped a flower from the Forever Lovely stamp set and die cut it with its coordinating die from the  Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies.

Kraft Pillow Box Treat Packages using All My Love Product Suite

Then I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment from the Forever Lovely Pillow Bo on a strip of Whisper White.  I added Red Rhinestone Jewels as accent to the Pillow Boxes.  I love that these Kraft Pillow Boxes store flat, so you can decorate them before travelling, saving space.  Then, when you arrive at your destination, you can purchase something locally to fill your Pillow Boxes before giving them as gifts.  These make great thank-you gifts when travelling. Stampin' Up! Tea Time Together Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies

  • Stampin' Up! Tea Together Stamp Set and Dies
  • Become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and select $175 in products for $99
  • Check out my Tutorial Page

Stampin' Up! More Tea Together

Here's a fun card using the Stampin' Up!  Tea Together stamp set and coordinating dies.  The dies are a free Level 2 selection in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure with a $100 purchase until March 31.  I'm so happy that this set of Dies will carry over after Sale-A-Bration ends.  It's been rather gray in Houston the past couple of days, so I needed something that warmed my eyes rather than the spring colors I've been working with from the Occasions catalog.  I picked out this rich, flowered paper from the Share What You Love paper pack from the annual catalog, and paired it with some Rich Razzelberry that seems to compliment the tea theme for this card.  If you haven't already done so, download and look through the Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to see all of the lovely, new sets and new products available.

The basecard for this card is So Saffron cardstock.  Then a layer of Rich Razzleberry.  And then a layer of a print from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

Then I die cut the tea pot, the rose shape, and the stitched circle out of Very Vanilla, using the Tea Time Framelits Dies from the Sale-A_Bration Brochure and the circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.

I mounted all three images from the Tea Together stamp set onto a single Stamparatus plate.  I used the sheet I had cut the images from as a template, and inserted the blank die cuts into each opening.  I inked the three stamps with Rich Razzleberry and stamped all three die cuts at the same time.  Since I was stamping these die cuts for several cards, I was able to simple add the blank die cuts for each card into my template and quickly stamp the three images again and again.  The Stamparatus is such a time saver.

I mounted the tea pots onto dimensionals and added them to the card front.  I used Light Rich Razzelberry Blends and Light Old Olive Blends Markers to color the roses.  I added dimensionals to the rose die cuts and added them on top of the tea pots.

Tea Time Framelit Dies used to cut the images

The sentiment is also from the Tea Together set.  It is die cut using one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits circle dies.  The ribbon is 1/4" Rich Razzelberry Ribbon from the annual catalog.  The sentiment is mounted on Dimensionals before adding it on top of the velvet ribbon.

The Tea Together stamp set is from the Occasions Catalog, pp 49.  Here's what to purchase to get the Tea Time Framelit Dies (149697) set free:
