Stampin' Up! Hand Delivered Stamp Set

I can't seem to get enough of the Stampin' Up! Hand Delivered Hostess stamp set.  This set includes not only the balloons on today's card, but also includes a decorated cake, a pile of books, and an empty sign, perfect for you to personalize to your celebration.  The set also includes seven sentiments and a variety of skirts for the lady.  Its like playing paper dolls as an adult.  I love how this card came together, and it is one of the cards we'll make in the card class this Sunday, June 10.

The basecard is one of the new In Colors, Grapefruit Grove.  It is dry embossed with the Ruffled Embossing folder, to give the card a feminine look.  There is a small piece of one of the In Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, then the image block is Whisper White.

I stamped the balloon shapes and the girl in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Then I colored the images with Blends Markers.  The sentiment, also from this stamp set, is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento on Whisper White and backed with a small banner of Grapefruit Grove.  These is a small tail of  Gold Mini Sequin Trim attached to the sentiment.

The good news is the the current colors of Blends markers are finally back in stock and can be ordered now.  The new Blends marker colors are still awaiting delivery and could possibly be available mid June.  The new colors have a red "N" in front of them in the new catalog, page 205.

The Hand Delivered Stamp is one of the "must have" stamps, in my opinion.  This is stamp set is a $21.00 value, but with a $150 order, you can purchase this stamp set for $13.00. Or, join us this Sunday to make several cards with this cute stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Apron of Love Stamp Set

If you still need a Father's Day card, you'll love playing with the Stampin' Up! Apron of Love stamp set and the Coordinating Apron Builder Framelit Dies.  I've had this set for a while, but it looked like it would take a long time to create a card with all these pieces.  I was really surprised at how easily this card came together.  One piece that helps is that the individual tools are all one die, so one pass through the Big Shot cuts all of the tools at once.  I also found that between Glue Dots and Mini Dimensionals, all of the pieces were easy to assemble.

The basecard is Lemon Lime Twist.  Then a layer of Basic Black.  Then I used up a retired print from the Picture Perfect Party 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper while I wait for my new catalog order (which shipped today, YEAH!!).  Then the image block is a print from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Pack matted with Basic Black.  The stripes for the apron is also a print from the Picture Perfect Party pack.  Blackberry Bliss is 11 X 4-1/4, folded to 5-1/2 X 4-1/4".

I die cut the utensils from Silver Foil Sheets and attached them with Glue dots.  The sentiment is stamped in Basic Black and Rich Razzleberry.  Hats off to the stamp designers at Stampin' Up! for creating sentiments where you can quickly stamp sentiments in two colors.

The Apron of Love stamp set includes so many cute sentiments, you'll find yourself using it for many different occasions.   Let your imagine run wild and see what you create with this sweet set.
