Create a Holiday gift using Copper Tea Tins and 3" X 3" gift cards

  • Snowflake Showcase promotion sneak peek
  • Darling Label Punch Box
  • Final Day for $5 Paper Pumpkin Kit Flash Sale

Copper Tea Tins from Stampin' Up!

Today's project is a cute decorated Copper Tea Tin and an assortment of 3" X 3" note card to fill the tin.  The tins are in the main Stampin' Up! Catalog and are 3-3/4" X 3-5/8" X 2-1/4".  Just the right size for 3" X 3" gift cards and envelopes.  As I worked on a color combination for this, I thought about a gift that would be meaning full as a handmade gift throughout the fall and into January.  That's why I decided the snowflake would work perfectly as the dominant element on the copper tin.

The 3" X 3" gift cards sentiments are from the Darling Label Punch Box.  The sentiments are stamped in Soft Suede and then punched with the punch from the Darling Label Punch Box.  I did use one sentiment from the Hand Delivered set with a small leaf from the Make a Difference Stamp set.

The base cards for the 3 X 3" gift cards are Gray Granite.  Then a layer of Soft Suede and then a layer of one of the prints from Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper.  This paper has a copper foil image on it.

The sentiment layers are a square of Soft Suede die cut with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Square.  The sentiments are stamped in Soft Suede on Whisper White.  Each card is accented with an element die cut from Copper Foil Sheet.  The detailed leaf is from the Stitched Seasons Framelits, The snowflake and leaves on the other 3 gift cards are all from the soon to be released Snowfall Thinlits Dies, part of the new Snowflake Showcase Promotion coming November 1.

The copper tin is also cover with a 3 X 12" strip of the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper.  There is a 12" length of Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon with a layer of the Metallic Ribbon Combo down the center.  Then the center of the tin front includes a large snowflake die from Copper Foil Sheet using one of the dies in the new Snowfall Thinlit Dies.

Here's a look at the dies in this soon to be released die set.In addition to the snowflakes, notice the beautiful flowers and leaves that coordinate with the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, and remind me of some of the images in the Love What You Do stamp set from the Main Catalog.  This new set of dies coordinates with two stamp sets that I showed in yesterday's post.

While you're waiting for these news sets to become available, Take a look at the sets and dies available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  Order your holiday stamp sets and dies soon so you'll have them in plenty of time to create your handmade holiday cards.

Sneak Peek of the Snowflake Showcase promotion

  • Snowflake Showcase promotion sneak peek
  • Beautiful Merry Merlot & Copper Ribbon
  • $5 Paper Pumpkin Kit Flash Sale end tomorrow

Snowfall Thinlits from Stampin' Up!

I'm in love with a new promotion Stampin' Up! will begin offering November 1, and I'm sharing a sneak peek of one of the products today.  This is one set of promotion products you're going to want to add to your Holiday Wish List, so start planning now.  This promotion is called the Snowfall Showcase promotion, and today I'm sharing the beautiful Snowfall Thinlits that will be part of this wonderful showcase.  The Snowflake Showcase promotion includes two stamp sets, coordinating thinlits, embellishments, and White Velvet Paper.  I'll share more sneak peeks in the coming days.

Snowflake Showcard will be available for a limited time beginning November 1

The basecard I'm using is Merry Merlot cardstock.  The next layer is Gold Foil Sheets. Then another layer of Merry Merlot.

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Showcase begins November 1, 2018

The beautiful snowflake is die cut from a Gold Foil Sheet, and I add another smaller snowflakes from the set and layered it in the center.  This die set includes a very large detailed snowflake and a multitude of different size snowflakes and snowflake swirls that will meet all your Holiday project needs.

Snowflake Showcase Exclusive Products available for a limited time beginning November 1, 2018

The sentiment on these cards is from the Timeless Tidings stamp set, and it is heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder.

The ribbon is the lovely two-sided Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8" Reversible Ribbon.  I tried two different bows on the two cards below.  I'm not sure which treatment I like bests.  Of course photographing these Gold Foil snowflakes and gold embossed sentiments was extremely difficult, and doesn't begin to show the beauty of these gorgeous snowflakes.  You'll fall in love with this set once you see them in real life.

Here's a look at some of the products that will become available as part of this Limited-time Snowflake Showcase promotion beginning November 1.  I didn't realize until I finished my photos for this post, that there are even more dies included on the backside of this die set!!  I'll show you more in future posts.
