Card Ideas Using Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper

I'm finding so many ways to use the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.  Today's card is a fast, simple card for a friend or for someone who is healing from an illness or injury.  The Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper is part of the Perennial Essence Suite, including the new Floral essence stamp set and the Perennial Flower Punch Bundle.   If your new 2019-2010 annual Stampin' Up! catalog has arrived, take a look at page 107-108 to see all of the elements in this new suite.  Then download the Shopping List below and add this beautiful paper to your first order from the catalog with it goes live on June 4.

This card will take you only a few minutes to cut and assemble.  It is a common layout that I've used for cards throughout the years because it take very few supplies, goes together quickly, yet looks different with each Designer Series Paper, ribbons or sentiment(s) you use.  One of the ways to create cards quickly is to assemble a couple of dozen card layouts to use as templates that you've used in the past that you can use as templates for new cards, like this one.  Save this one to your Pinterest boards now so its ready for future use, in addition to using it with your order of Perennial Essence designer Series Paper.

The basecard for this card is the new In Color, Purple Posey.  Then a layer of Highland Heather.  Then a Layer of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Healing Hugs Stamp set,  and another sentiment from the Love what You Do Stamp Set --both sets carry-over from the current catalog-- on a 2-1/4" punched circle of Purple Posey.  The ink used on the sentiments was Highland Heather. The sentiment circles were accented with Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets, also a carry-over from current catalogs.

The bows are a triple bow of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

Ordering for Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper begins on June 4.  Download a blank Shopping List below and start listing your favorites so you'll be ready to order June 4.

For my current customers, your new 2019-2020 Annual Stampin' Up Catalog has already arrived or will be in your mailbox soon.  Time to begin putting together your order so you'll be one of the first to get into the ordering queue when the new catalog launches on June 4.  Download this handy Shopping List which includes an index to key sections of the new catalog.  One change I've found really useful in this year's catalog is a section towards the front of the catalog listing all of the bundles in one place.  If you're looking for savings and a way to earn the most shopping rewards with your orders of $150+ (not including shipping and tax), bundles are a great way to maximize your purchases.  You generally save 10% when ordering a coordinating Stamp Set and dies or Punches together as a bundle.

Sneak Peek of new stamp set Floral Essence by Stampin' Up!

Sneak Peek of Floral Essence

I've been working on swaps using the Floral Essence stamp sets from the upcoming Stampin' Up! catalog.  I loved working with this set during On Stage, and I was lucky to receive the Perennial Flowers Punch when we were allowed to each select from table supplies we used to make our Make and Takes.   This stamp set can be purchased alone, or as a bundle with the stamp set and coordinating punch.  It is also part of a product suite with coordinating Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper, colored vellum cardstock, ribbons and fuzzy, yellow flower centers, pictured below.

This card uses many of the items in the Perennial Essence Suite. It coordinates well with the new Pretty Peacock cardstock.

The die cuts are from the Stitched Nested Label Die.  The flower images from the Floral Essence Stamp Set, are stamped with Pretty Peacock ink onto the Stitched Nested Label Dies.  The basecard is the new Pretty Peacock.  Then a layer of Petal Pink and then one of the prints from the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.

The dimensional flowers are stamped in Flirty Flaming on to the Petal Pink 12" X 12" vellum cardstock and then punched using the Perennial Flower Punch. It take two to make each flower.  Then I added the cute, fuzzy yellow flower centers to each flower.  You can find these listed as Perennial Essence Floral Centers.  I'll continue to call them cute, fuzzy flower centers.

I stamped one of the sentiments from this set onto a banner of Whisper White.  I created a bow using the Blackberry Nature's Twine, a carry-over from a previous catalog.

You'll love creating soft, floral cards with the Floral Essence Stamp Set and items from the Perennial Essence Suite.  If its not included in your first order when the catalog is released June 4, you're sure to want it add on your follow-up order.   I have heard reports from customers in TX and Florida that their new catalogs from me have arrived, so if you're a current customer, watch for your catalog in the next few days.   Ordering begins on June 4, but you can order from the current catalog until June 3.
