Halloween Treat Boxes using Clear Tiny Treat Boxes

  • Halloween Treat Boxes
  • 2 X 2 X 2 Clear Tiny Treat Boxes
  • I'm going to Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home next week

If you still have a bit of your Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper, grab some of your Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and make these cute treat holders, and you'll be ready for trick and treaters later this week.  I used Layering Squares Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, the spider from the Little Treat Box Dies, and Peek-A- Hoot Dies to create these cute treats.  Fill them with sweet treats or little toys and you're ready for Halloween.

I cut a strip of 12" X 2" Designer Series Paper.  Then I Cut off two 2" X 2" squares to use on the base and the top cover for the 2" square acetate boxes.  Then I used the remaining 8" X 2" to cover the inside of the Tiny Tread Boxes.  I then used square dies from the Layering Squares Dies and Stitched Shapes Framelits to die cut a Basic Black scalloped mat, a Rich Razzelberry (or Cajun Craze). Square, and then a Whisper white Stitched Shape square using the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I stamped the Boo from the Have A Hoot Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the Whisper White Square, and added a Basic Black web die cut from the Peek-A-Hoot- Dies and a spider from the Little Treat Box Dies to complete my Halloween scene.

I added a Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each of the Whisper White Layers and tied a bow using the 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon to hold the box shut securely.

You'll have so much fun creating these scary little Halloween Treat Boxes.  And your Trick and Treaters will feel special picking up one of these little boxes of fun on Hallows Eve.

I'm sooo ready for Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home

This year we've seen so many changes to how our favorite events are being hosted.  I always look forward to yearly Stampin' Up! live events -- especially OnStage.  Its always fun to be part of an excited crowd of fun-loving stampers seeing demonstrations of upcoming catalog products and display boards of ideas, swapping cards with other demonstrators, and seeing old friends from other parts of the country or from abroad.

Well, this year Stampin' Up! is providing us some of these same fun experiences --only virtually--with Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home happening in the first week in November.

Today, fun gifts for the event started to arrive at my home.  First:  A big swag box arrived.  We usually receive a bag or tote of some sort, stamp sets from the upcoming Spring Mini catalogs, pens, notebooks, and other goodies.  Who wants to see what we've received this year?

Also, my mail today included a smaller box.  Stampin' Up! treats Silver Elite Demonstrators and above extra special at Stampin' Up! events.  This usually includes special events for only these demonstrators.  These special events are called Center Stage...they really put us center stage.    Just because we aren't together this year doesn't mean that Stampin' Up! isn't continuing the practice of making us feel special.

This is the box I unwrapped along with a hint of the gifts inside.

A special gift sent to Silver Elite Demonstrators and above attending OnStage@Home

I can't wait to begin sharing with you the new products Stampin' Up! will offer beginning with the Spring Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration in January.  Demonstrators get an early look and get to order in early December--unless you attend OnStage@Home.  We'll be able to place an order for new items in early November so we get an early start on producing samples to show our customers.

Visit the Stampin' Up! Online Store to check out the

The Stampin' Up Online store has more ways to search, and larger images making it easier to find and see close ups of new products.  If you haven't visited the store since the launch, you will need to enter your password as the new Online Store also has a new location.  Just once; then you're all set.

Halloween Treats

  •  Halloween Treat Sour Cream Holders
  • This Weeks' Deals

Trick or Treat Containers

Here's another fun idea for treat holders for the Halloween holiday.

These sour cream holders are simple to make.   Cut a 5" X 5" square out of designer series paper.  I used Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper for these.  Simply seal on two sides and on the 3rd (short) side fold in half in the opposite direction of the other short side.

These hold a couple of wrapped candies and are fun and fast to make.
