You're Inspiring

I love shades of green.  Always have.  Always will.  Green sets off the yellow in the daffodils in the Stampin' Up! You're Inspiring set.  This year's catalog includes so many great shades of green, and I love how they all work together to create such beautiful projects.

Today I pulled out one of the 6' X 6" sheets in the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stacks.  Looking at it I saw it worked with Old Olive and with Pear Pizzazz.  Adding a yellow element just worked with these colors.  For today's card, I used a basecard of Pear Pizzazz and then a layer of Old Olive, and then a layer of the Color Theory Designer Series Paper in shades of green.

I then die cut a Lots of Labels shape and an Layering Ovals shape.  I stamped the daffodils in Tuxedo Black Memento, and used Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Blends markers to color the image.

I love banner sentiments and found a banner outline in the Blooming Love stamp set.  I used a banner die from the Large Number set to die cut the banner. after stamping the Happy Easter sentiment from the You're Inspiring set.

After I assembled the layers, I added a Pear Pizzazz ribbon and three different sizes of the Old Olive Glitter Enamel Dots.  I can't wait to make more of these cards.  I love how it turned out, and this is a card I know someone will be happy to receive.
