One Day only Free Stampin' Up! Shipping plus Dressed To Impress Card idea

  • Dressed To Impress Stamp Set and All Dressed Up Coordinating Dies
  • Free Shipping - one day only - 24 June 2021
  • Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Kit Unboxing Video
I'm having so much fun today.  First, creating this spunky card.  And then, planning my order for 24 June when Stampin' Up! offers free shipping!.  Yes!  One day only, you can qualify for free shipping with a $50 (Less tax or coupons) order.

My card uses the always popular Dressed to Impress Stamp Set, with its ladylike, refined elements.  I paired this with the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper for a truly soft, delicate look.  The frilly, scalloped , stitched rectangle from the Scalloped Contours Dies continued the overall refined theme.  I used several colors of Stampin' Pens to color the feminine die cuts. and the roses stamped on the Scalloped  layer.  When I see this card it makes me think of my wonderfully graceful sisters and my sisters-in-law.

The basecard for this card is Misty Moonlight Cardstock.  Then a layer of of Hand-Penned 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper.  Then a scalloped rectangle of Basic White Cardstock die cut using the Scalloped Contours Dies.

I  used more Basic White Cardstock, and Stamped images from the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set, colored them with Stampin' Blends and die cut them using the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies.

To create the double high heels, I stamped one of the high heels onto a sticky note and fussy cut it.  Then I stamped one of the high heels onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I covered it with the sticky note I cut out earlier to mask it as I stamped a second high heel slightly offset from the first high heel.  After coloring them with Pale Papaya Blends, I fussy cut the pair of high heels out by hand. The All Dressed Up Dies includes a die to cut a single high heel shoe, which I couldn't used after stamping them as a pair.  Alternatively, I could have die cut two high heels separately and then glued them together, but I was concerned with adding too much bulk to the card.  My method kept all of the die cut images on the banner, at the same height .

I glued the die cut elements to a 1" X 5-1/4"" strip of Pale Papaya Cardstock, stamped with a sentiment on the right hand end using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I added a few Pale Papaya genial Gems and stamped more floral images onto the scalloped layer.

What a fun card to have on hand for Birthdays, or to let someone special know you're thinking of them.  You can order any of these items by clicking elements below. Order these items from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.

Sweet, Cool Treats

  • Sweet Cool Treats
  • Birthday, Cool Treats and Decorated Card Tin Class - March 26
  • Sale-A-Bration gifts end March 31

Stampin' Up! Sweet Cool Treats

I'm falling in love with the Cool Treats set.  I tried another card today with this set and the coordinating Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper, and I think it turned out to be just Sweet!

I liked the color combinations I started using yesterday, so I continued with the Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral combination for the two-step stamping technique on this card.  The sentiment is from the Cool Treats set.

I used Peekaboo Peach for the basecard as well.  I added the cone on a Stitched Shape oval with a scalloped matt in Peekaboo Peach.  The little bow uses the 3/8" Peekaboo Peach Rached Ribbon, and the Pumpkin Pie enamels added interest to the card.

Here is a photos of yesterday's card and today's card together.  You can use Designer Series paper or stamped images.  Both create the cutest cards!
