Come Sail Away Suite Sneak Peek from the upcoming Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog Release

  • Sailing Home Stamp Set from the Come Sail Away Suite
  • Samples using Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper
  • Grab your seat for the Beautiful Cards Class - April 28, 2019

Stampin' Up! Sailing Home Stamp Set

Today's Sneak Peek from the new 2019-2020 annual Stampin' Up! catalog uses the Sailing Home Stamp Set from the new Come Sail Away Suite.  I also the coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies along with the new Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I'm IN MAD LOVE with our new style dies!!  They cut so smoothly and the detailed stitching is much more detailed than on our current dies.  The stitched details come out of the dies so easily and perfectly.  I can't wait to use more of these new dies!

I created a card based on one of the cards from the display boards at the San Antonio event and added my own creative twists.

The basecard for today's card is Night of Navy.  Then a layer of the coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper from the Come Sail Away Suite.  Then a banner of Cherry Cobbler dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, which will carry over to the new catalog. (Yeah!)

I stamped the sailboat and birds in Night of Navy on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock die cut using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  Then I use my White colored pencil to shade the sailboat sail white.  I used a label die from the Smooth Sailing Dies to create a die cut for the sentiment.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock in Night of Navy.  Look closely at the stitched edges.  They came out of the die perfectly!

I created a second version of this card using another sentiment from the Sailing Home Stamp Set and stamped it in Night of Navy on a Very Vanilla Stitched Rectangle die cut.

We were introduced to this set during Stampin' Up! On Stage where we made the card on the right.  This suite has so many fun elements to work with, I can't wait to find more ways to use this set.  It includes sentiments that make this a perfect stamp set for creating great graduation cards, encouragement, Thanks you cards, and other very useful sentiment.  The coordinating Smooth Sailing Dies and the coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Papers will make this suite a delight to work with.

You'll find many ways to create with this new suite.  I'm sure your Pinterest Boards are growing with the addition of other new catalog sneak peeks you are seeing.  Be sure to add this to your Sailing Home Stamp Set board on Pinterest.

Love this new set from the upcoming catalog?  If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list, which I'm finalizing at the end of this month (April 30).  New catalogs will arrive towards the end of May, giving you time to put together your Wish List so you'll be ready to order June 4.

Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely Stamp Set

  • Stampin' Up! Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies
  • Hey!  Why not come to the Valentine's Day Class January 27?
  • New Stampin' Up! Demonstrators select $175 in products for $99

Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely

Here another Valentine's card with the Stampin' Up Forever Lovely Stamp Set and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I love working with these two items because of the different looks you can get with these products.  Today's card is another card we're making this week end in the Valentine's Day Class on January 27. Read more below. The background pattern on today's Valentine's Day card is actually stamped -- it's not a Designer Series Paper.  I used the multi-heart stamp from Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely and stamped three times along the left side of my Whisper White Paper and Three times along the right side of my Whisper White paper.  I love the look of all these tiny hearts from this particular stamp.  The Forever Lovely set and Be Mine Stitched Dies are from the Occasions catalog.

The basecard for this card is Lovely Lipstick.  Then a layer of Whisper White.  And then another layer of Whisper White stamped with the tiny hearts stamp using Lovely Lipstick.  This is a DistINKtive-style stamp, so you'll see a more realistic look to the images, which gives the images of more tone and texture.  DistINKtive stamps are a creation of Stampin' Up! that really makes a difference when you stamp with these special stamp sets.

The two hears were both created using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  Both were cut from Lovely Lipstick cadstock.

The sentiment from this card was stamp using one of the Forever Lovely Stamps, and it was stamped inside the heart onto the Whisper White card using Lovely Lipstick ink.

The 1/2" wide Lovely Lipstick ribbon is from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack and is also part of the All My Love Suite, as is the Forever Lovely Stamp set.

Want to make Valentines and earn a free pick from the Sale-A-Bration brochure?  Order the stamp set and dies used in today's card for a free Level 1 pick.

Stampin' Up! Lovely Lattice

The background for this card is Gorgeous Grape cardstock.  Then a layer of Whisper White die cut with the Wonderful Framelits Dies, giving you the open lattice and leaves on the right hand side of the card.

Then I stamped the Lovely Lattice stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White twice.  I colored the images with Light and Dark Highland Heather Blends Markers, and Light Granny Apple Green Blends Markers.  Then I fussy cut one of colored image out of the Whisper White and popped it up on Dimensional. I colored and used only two of the flowers from the second Lovely Lattice image I had stamped earlier.  After coloring the two flowers, I fussy cut them, popped them up on Dimensionals and added them on top of the flowers from the original Lovely Lattice image, adding more texture to the card.

The sentiment is from the Detailed with Love stamp set from the annual Stampin' Up! catalog.

The sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape onto an oval of Whisper White matted with an oval of Highland Heather cardstock.  I also used the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies to cut two leaves that I added to the edge of the sentiment.

The ribbon is is the 5/8" Whisper White Flax Ribbon from the Occasions Catalog.  I added Glitter Enamel Dots to three areas of the card.

The Lovely Lattice stamp set is a free set that can be earned with a $50 order during Sale-A_Bration.  Add this lovely stamp set to your Wish List now.  You'll be so happy you did as you create your Birthday and Mother's Day cards this Spring.

  • A Sneak Peek of Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies from Occasions catalog
  • A card class to Jumpstart your January
  • Year-End Sale Ends TODAY; Get these items by Jan 2

Stampin' Up! Occasion Catalog Sneak Peek

Can't wait for Spring?  These beautiful butterflies will hold you over.  Here's a card showing the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies from the upcoming Occasions catalog.  And the wait is almost over.  Beginning January 3, you'll be able to place orders for this set of thinlits as well as a wagon-load of other beautiful new stamp sets, dies and coordinating papers, ribbons and accessories.

The beautiful background paper is from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, which you can earn during Sale-A_Bration with a $40 order.  Look through the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to see all of the selections you can choose from.  The Sale-A-Bration Brochure will be live Thursday, January 3.

My customers have already received the new Sale-A-Bration Brochure in their mailbox.  Before my customers begin calling, YES, the new Occasions catalogs are also on the way.  They were shipped within a few days of each other, so it should be in your mailbox soon. However, we're hearing reports that catalogs have been delayed.  You'll be able to download the catalogs tomorrow.  And, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and you need the upcoming catalogs, just let me know

Sale-A-Bration is a special sale Stampin' Up! holds during January 3 through March 31, where each $50 or $100 purchase from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog or the Occasions catalog earns you free selections of merchandise from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  This year, during Sale-A-Bration, there is also a great sign-up bonus to join my team as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. demonstrator.

Beginning January 3, you'll be able to sign up for $99 and pick $175 -- YES $175-- worth of merchandise from any of the current Stampin' Up! catalogs as your starter kit.  If you're thinking about it, joining in early January not only gets you the great signing offer, but you'll be able to earn even more if you sell or recruit during January, February or March -- while Sale-A-Bration is going on. Be sure to wait until January 3 to get the $175 offer, and then, click this link to sign up, or contact me and we'll work through a Starter Kit order to get you the most for your money.

For today's card, I used a Highland Heather, then a layer of Gorgeous Grape and then a print from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  The butterflies are two layers; one of Gorgeous Grape and the second of Highland Heather, cut with the new Butterfly Beauty Thinlit Dies.

The sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape on a small piece of Whisper White, and it is from the Piece of Cake stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.  The sentiment piece is layered over the Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon, a very soft ribbon, much like the Burlap ribbon in the main catalog, only more pliable.

Isn't this a gorgeous card?  Just the card for a special friend or family member, and very easy to make as the butter fly images are all connected, so you're making only two passes through the big shot.  One for the lighter color and one for the darker color cardstock used.
