Make a Difference Alphabet set and more... from Stampin' Up!

Make a Difference Stamp Set

Today you're probably looking at the photo below and saying to yourself, " Which stamp set was used for that sentiment?  I don't remember seeing that sentiment in the Share What You Love Suite."  Well, I used the new Make A Difference Stamp set, an alphabet set that you can use to easily create sentiments to meet your needs.

The Make A Difference stamp set includes not only upper and lower case letters, in two different fonts, and also includes numbers, some common double letters and an assortment of symbols and small sentiments for more usefulness.  There's a Stampin' Up! copyright to ensure your cards meet the Angle Policy if you're selling your finished cards.  There is also a few items for tags, such as "to" and "from", or for an envelope "deliver to", More sentiments for the back of cards or projects:  "Handstamped by," or "Handcrafted just for you" or "created by."  There are even stamps to personalize your books or stamp sets with, "This belongs to".  You can create your own name to use with any of these statements to personalize your creations.  I can't wait to use, "From the desk of."

I used an Old Olive base card.  Then I dry embossed the Lovely Floral embossing folder image on a Whisper White Layer.  I created a 1-3/4" X 5-1/4" banner under the image block and decorated the banner with one of the flower and branch images from the Make a Difference Alphabet set. I stamped the image in Versamark on the Old Olive banner to give it an softer look.

The image block is Whisper White backed with an old Olive mat.  The images of the flower, stems and backgrounds are from the Share What You Love set.  The leaves and stems are stamped in Old Olive.  The flowers were stamped in Grapefruit Grove on Whisper White and fussy cut before popping them up on Dimensionals.

The sentiment uses a new die from the June 1 catalog called Stitched Label Framelits and it is matted with a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits.  A few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls were added to the card.

This stamp set is part of the Gotta Have It All bundle from the Share What You Love Suite, and its available for purchase now -- before the release of the new Annual Catalog coming out June 1.  Purchasing one of the three bundles includes free gifts.  After May 31, the Share What you love bundles can still be purchased from the new catalog, but the free gifts go away.  Download a brochure with details about the free gifts and each of the three bundles here

Final weeks to get retiring products

Visit my online store to check out Last Chance products from the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalogs. While most items are only available until they sell out, retiring stamp sets will be available until May 25.  My online store is the best source to see if the products you want are still available.  As items sell out, they will no longer be listed in my online store.

Remember that carry-over bundles of stamps and coordinating dies or punches that are marked 10% off in the current catalogs, will no longer have bundle pricing in the new annual catalog. Get these bundled before March 31 to get the 10% savings.

Download the Last-Chance Product Lists to mark up your catalog with retiring products.  Grab your favorites before they are gone at the end of May.  Pick up reinkers for your old-style stamp pads, or retiring cardstock colors you need to finish scrapbook pages you've started.

Sneak Peek at the Springtime Impressions Butterfly thinlit from Stampin' Up!

Butterfly from Springtime Impressions

More of my demonstrator pre-release order arrived today.  I didn't even bother unpacking everything.  As soon as I found this butterfly thinlit, from the Springtime Impressions Thinlit set, I started looking for papers that would compliment this new butterfly. I'm such a sucker for butterflies.

I'm using this new butterfly with the pre-release Share What You Love bundle that includes the Do What You Love stamp set and the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is part of the early-release Share What you love bundles that customers can order from the new catalog prior to catalog release, June 1.

I looked at the colors in the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and my first selection for a base card was Rich Razzelberry.  However, It just wasn't bright enough with the Pool Party background in the print.  The colors in the flowers ended up looking better with the Berry Burst basecard.  Then I selected a layer of Tranquil Tide and then a layer of Pool Party and Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I use the Layered Leaves Embossing folder to dry emboss the Pool Party Layer.

I added a 1/2" Berry Burst Finely Woven ribbon between the two layers.  This is such a nice, flat ribbon.  However, a 1/2" strip of cardstock would work equally well, since this is one of the ribbons retiring at the end of this month.  The good news is that this ribbon is on sale on the Last-Chance list.  Since Berry Burst cardstock will carry over to the new catalog, this is an opportunity to get coordinating ribbons at a pretty significant savings.

The butterfly was cut from Pool Party cardstock using the new Springtime Expression Thinlits.  This is a sneak peek of this butterfly as this die will not be available until the new catalog release on June 1.   I used the Precision Base Plate to ensure this detailed butterfly cut evenly.  Then I used the Big Shot Die Brush to easily remove the chads from the die.

The sentiment is from the Do What You Love Stamp Set stamped on Very Vanilla with Tranquil Tide ink.  The sentiment is cut using Layering Ovals and the Very Vanilla layer is matted with a scalloped oval layer of Tranquil Tide,

More savings announced on some retiring products

Several retiring items have new discounts Stampin' Up! added in the past week.  To view all of the retiring products, visit my online store.  This is your best source to see if the products you want are still available.  As items sell out, they will no longer be listed in my online store.

Download the Last-Chance Product Lists and start your craft room clean up to remove your retired items so you have room for your purchases from the new catalog.  You'll likely want to place an order for any remaining items on your Wish List before they're gone, May 31.

It's also a good idea to stock up on reinkers for your old-style stamp pads, to pick up a pack or two of your favorite, retiring cardstock, and to add a roll of retiring ribbon to match your retiring Designer Series Papers.

While most items are only available until they sell out, retiring stamp sets will be available until May 25.
