Watercolor pencils with Inside the Line 

One of my favoite new items from the Occasions catalog is the water color pencils and this wonderful new Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper, a Sale-A-Bration free selection with a $50 order.  
     

This was one of the cards we made during OnStage.  We cut the Designer Paper into pieces and then colored only parts of the flower image and the bumble bee.  I'm in love with that big plump bumble bee!   This used dry watercolor Pencils.  I can't wait to try this same technique with the acquapainters.  Take a look at the video below to see different techniques with these new watercolor pencils.

I always download my own copy of the Occasions catalog, even though I have had my printed copy of the catalog since early November.    It is so nice to be able to enlarge a page to see the details on embossing folders and thinlit or framelit dies.

One of my favorites from the new catalog is the Sending Love Suite.  It was one of the first sets we stamped with during the November OnStage event previewing the new catalog for demonstrators.  I took home the set from the event plus I ordered a second set since I knew this one would get a lot of attention making Valentine cars.

The sending Love Glassine Sheets are great for making cute envelopes using the framelit dies in this set.  They are printed with delicate white hearts that are great for Valentine projects.

Hanukkah Card using Jewish Celebrations Set

I grabbed a favorite retired stamp set out of my stash today to create this card.   I find I'm  always hoarding a few favorite stamp set that have technically "retired." but I just find them too pleasing to part with.  

Unfortunately, my "too-fond-of-to part-with" sets have grown to 3 shelves and 8 drawers.  Yikes!  After I've used all of my "current" stamp sets in a season, I like to go back to some of my all-time-favorites, and that's what I'm doing this week.  I'm gathering up my Holiday catalog sets that are retiring, adding the new Occasions sets I received in my pre-order, and weeding through the "all-time-favorites" to see if any of them have reached the point where I can sell them as part of my "used sets sale" when I hold my Occasions catalog Open House.

Today's card was inspired by a tin I found while clearing off my work space.  I'm embarressed to say the tin has been sitting there since last year.

Shipping schedule for Christmas Delivery

To receive your Stampin' Up! deliveries by Christmas, please place your order by December 15, for regular shipping.

Expedited Shipping Customers have the option of selecting expedited shipping and handling on orders at an additional cost. Expedited orders placed before 11:00 AM (MT) will ship out the same day. (Please note that expedited orders placed on Stampin’ Up! holidays and weekends will ship the next business day.) Stampin’ Up! cannot guarantee delivery by UPS on weekends; please check with your local UPS distributor for local delivery. Stampin’ Up! cannot refund expedited shipping costs if an order is shipped earlier than expected. The cost for expedited shipping and handling is in addition to the regular shipping charge.

You may select one of two expedited shipping options: 
Next-Day Air and Second-Day Air.

Next-Day Air: 
There will be an additional charge of $35 for each $500 or fraction thereof. For orders up to $500, you would pay the regular shipping charge plus an expedited shipping charge of $35. 

For orders from $500.01 to $1,000, you would pay the regular shipping charge plus an expedited shipping charge of $70, and so on. 

Second-Day Air: 
There will be an additional charge of $20 for each $500 or fraction thereof, as explained above. The $500 threshold excludes shipping and handling and sales/use taxes. 

3-Day Shipping: There will be an additional charge of $10 for each $500 or fraction thereof. This service is only available to demonstrators and customers who live in UPS 4, 5, and 6 ground transit times. Please note that the 3-Day option does not include expedited handling, i.e. the 3-Day shipping time begins once the order has been processed and fulfilled in the order it was received, not from the date of the order.
