Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade
The Beautiful Promenade Stamp set and the Petal Promenade Designer Series paper are part of the Petal Promenade Suite, pictured on page 106 of the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. It includes the Beautiful Layers Thinlits, and the stamp set and dies can be purchased individually or as a a bundle at a 10% savings. I love when Stampin' Up! thinks through how to coordinate papers, stamp sets and dies to make it easy for crafters to come up with multiple was to use these items. There is another die used on this card. The Stain Glass Thinlits created the detailed square piece behind the flowers. I think it adds just the right touch of delicacy to this card.
The basecard for this card is Petal Pink. The diagonal is the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper matted with Berry Burst cardstock. The die cut flowers, sentiment and detailed square all use Very Vanilla cardstock. The flowers are stamped in Berry Burst Ink and Petal Pink, which has a soft peach color to it, in my opinion. The flower stamps are two-step stamps and you'll find your Stamparatus makes stamping these very easy.
The leaves are Mossy Meadow. One set is stamped on vellum in Mossy Meadow ink and die cut with the Beautiful Layers Thinlit dies. The open leaves are die cut out of Meadow Mossy cardstock.
The bow is the Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle and to get the right volume, I used a triple layer of the ribbon. It is very soft so it will lie flat for sending and then puff up when removed from the envelope. The sentiment is also from the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set. It is stamped in Berry Burst onto a 1/2" wide piece of Very Vanilla. Don't forget that the Stampin' Up!
