Stampin' Up! Winter Woods creates a Winter Wonderland

  • Stampin' Up! Winter Woods isn't just for holiday cards
  • Stampin' Up!  Healing Hugs stamp set
  • Final day for Second of Three Stampin' Up! Online Extravaganza
  • Join us December 2 to make handmade Christmas Cards

Stampin' Up! Winter Woods Stamp set

Another wonderful card I received during the Orlando swaps is the sparkly card I'm showing today.  It uses the Winter Woods set on Very Vanilla cardstock with a sentiment from Healing Hugs stamp set.  I like that the Winter Woods stamp set can be used with a holiday sentiment that's included in this set, yet works well with every-day sentiments from other sets, like the sentiment from Healing Hugs.

This card is full of sparkle and shine with a layer of Dazzling Diamonds covering the boughs of the trees and Rhinestones scattered throughout the layout.

The basecard is Thick Very Vanilla, with a Crumb Cake cardstock accent later.  The stamped trees are on Very Vanilla.

The  sentiment is stamped on a circle of Crumb Cake in Memento Black Ink using a sentiment from the Healing Hugs stamp set.  The bow at the top of the sentiment uses Linen Thread.  I love that items from the Holiday catalog work well with items from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog

Stampin' Up! posted a list of Holiday Catalog items recently that had received higher-than-forecasted demand and were sold out, as well as several items with low inventory.  If you've had your eye on any items from the Holiday catalog, make sure you order soon.  Take a look at other sets and dies available in the Stampin' Up! Main Catalog as well as the Holiday Catalog.

Recipe for project:

Stamps:  Winter Woods(Holiday catalog), Healing Hugs (main catalog)
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Tuxedo Black Memento
Paper:  Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Linen Thread, Circle punch, Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Dazzling Diamonds, Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals

My tutorials

Stampin' Up! gives us plenty of wonderful products to fill our creative needs.  But during busy holiday months, we don't always have time to create our own ideas.  Visit my tutorial page and order a card tutorial with all the dimensions and products spelled out along with step by step assembly instructions for each project.

Spend more time stamping and less time looking through social media for ideas.  See what available today.  Click the Tutorial tab at the top of my website, or follow this link to my Tutorial page.
