Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely

Here another Valentine's card with the Stampin' Up Forever Lovely Stamp Set and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I love working with these two items because of the different looks you can get with these products.  Today's card is another card we're making this week end in the Valentine's Day Class on January 27. Read more below. The background pattern on today's Valentine's Day card is actually stamped -- it's not a Designer Series Paper.  I used the multi-heart stamp from Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely and stamped three times along the left side of my Whisper White Paper and Three times along the right side of my Whisper White paper.  I love the look of all these tiny hearts from this particular stamp.  The Forever Lovely set and Be Mine Stitched Dies are from the Occasions catalog.

The basecard for this card is Lovely Lipstick.  Then a layer of Whisper White.  And then another layer of Whisper White stamped with the tiny hearts stamp using Lovely Lipstick.  This is a DistINKtive-style stamp, so you'll see a more realistic look to the images, which gives the images of more tone and texture.  DistINKtive stamps are a creation of Stampin' Up! that really makes a difference when you stamp with these special stamp sets.

The two hears were both created using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  Both were cut from Lovely Lipstick cadstock.

The sentiment from this card was stamp using one of the Forever Lovely Stamps, and it was stamped inside the heart onto the Whisper White card using Lovely Lipstick ink.

The 1/2" wide Lovely Lipstick ribbon is from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack and is also part of the All My Love Suite, as is the Forever Lovely Stamp set.

Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely

HI wanted A Valentine's card that was a little more sophisticated than the frilly, girly cards I typically do for Valentine's day, so I came up with today's design.  It uses a lot of textures and more muted tones with just a pop of color.  It features the Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely stamp set and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  This is one of the cards we'll make in the Valentine's Class January 27.  See more below.  The Forever Lovely set and Be Mine Stitched Dies are from the Occasions catalog and the two embossing folders used are from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog Stampin' Up! annual catalog

The basecard for this card is Gray Granite.  Then a layer of Whisper White dry embossed with the Subtle Embossing folder.

The sentiment layer is positioned on a Gray Granite piece dry embossed with the Striped Scallops.  Then a die cut from White Vellum Cardstock using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  The sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite onto a layer of Whisper White.  A small stitched heart is die cut from Lovely Lipstick using the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies.  I love mixing the different heart images available in this set.

The scrolled flower images on the bottom of the card is also cut from Gray Granite using one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.

While I had the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies and White Vellum out on my work surface, I decided to make a second version of this card.

This second version swaps out the small heart frames for one large vellum heart.  I wasn't sure which I liked best, so I'm posting them both.  While these aren't traditional Valentine's colors, I really like the different look of these cards.

Want to make Valentines and earn a free pick from the Sale-A-Bration brochure?  Order the first two items used in today's card for a free Level 1 pick.  Or order all these items and earn two free Level 1 picks or one Level 2 pick.

Stampin' Up! Tea Time Together Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies

  • Stampin' Up! Tea Together Stamp Set and Dies
  • Become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and select $175 in products for $99
  • Check out my Tutorial Page

Stampin' Up! More Tea Together

Here's a fun card using the Stampin' Up!  Tea Together stamp set and coordinating dies.  The dies are a free Level 2 selection in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure with a $100 purchase until March 31.  I'm so happy that this set of Dies will carry over after Sale-A-Bration ends.  It's been rather gray in Houston the past couple of days, so I needed something that warmed my eyes rather than the spring colors I've been working with from the Occasions catalog.  I picked out this rich, flowered paper from the Share What You Love paper pack from the annual catalog, and paired it with some Rich Razzelberry that seems to compliment the tea theme for this card.  If you haven't already done so, download and look through the Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to see all of the lovely, new sets and new products available.

The basecard for this card is So Saffron cardstock.  Then a layer of Rich Razzleberry.  And then a layer of a print from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

Then I die cut the tea pot, the rose shape, and the stitched circle out of Very Vanilla, using the Tea Time Framelits Dies from the Sale-A_Bration Brochure and the circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.

I mounted all three images from the Tea Together stamp set onto a single Stamparatus plate.  I used the sheet I had cut the images from as a template, and inserted the blank die cuts into each opening.  I inked the three stamps with Rich Razzleberry and stamped all three die cuts at the same time.  Since I was stamping these die cuts for several cards, I was able to simple add the blank die cuts for each card into my template and quickly stamp the three images again and again.  The Stamparatus is such a time saver.

I mounted the tea pots onto dimensionals and added them to the card front.  I used Light Rich Razzelberry Blends and Light Old Olive Blends Markers to color the roses.  I added dimensionals to the rose die cuts and added them on top of the tea pots.

Tea Time Framelit Dies used to cut the images

The sentiment is also from the Tea Together set.  It is die cut using one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits circle dies.  The ribbon is 1/4" Rich Razzelberry Ribbon from the annual catalog.  The sentiment is mounted on Dimensionals before adding it on top of the velvet ribbon.

The Tea Together stamp set is from the Occasions Catalog, pp 49.  Here's what to purchase to get the Tea Time Framelit Dies (149697) set free:

Tea Together stamp set                    148779       US$22.00
