Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set with Christmas Layers Dies

  • Christmas Layers Dies and Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set
  • Final day to order your October Paper Pumpkin

Stampin' Up! Christmas Layers Dies

I have to be honest with you, the Christmas Layers Dies wasn't on my "must have" list.  Yes, I wanted the Itty Bitty Christmas coordinating stamp set, and I actually bought it without the dies.  I kept looking at the Christmas Layers Dies, going "nahhh."  Just don't need it.  But I was missing snowflake dies for my holiday cards this year, so I finally broke down and added it to an order.

Oh.. my.. gosh!  What a wonderfully versatile die set.  Snowflakes for Winter, a string of leafy branches for Fall, and another set of geometric flowers for any season.  I used two of the three die cuts on cards below, but I could have just as easily used the third.  The Copper-Foil pint paper is from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper pack coordinated perfectly with these die cuts. Be sure to use the Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle item number, 153019, when you order  The Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle will save you 10% over purchasing the stamp and dies separately.  Also, pick up the Copper Delicata Metallic Ink for stamping your sentiments with the shine of embossing without the extra work.

The basecard for this card is Sahara Sand  Then the next layer is Whisper White.  Added on top of the whisper White is a strip of one of the prints with copper-foil embossing from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.  Next to that is a strip of Copper Foil Sheets.

Then I die cut from Copper Foil sheets, two of the large shapes from the Christmas Layers Dies.  One is snowflakes, the other is a leafy branch and added them to the card surface. I love that these images cut as a single unit.  Additionally, you can cut them apart and use individual pieces of the large images if you so choose.

To complete the card, I stamp different sentiments in Copper Delicata Metallic Ink on each card.  Then, I selected the 3/8" Linen Ribbon from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon - Combo pack and added bows to each card.

You'll find so many uses for the images in the Christmas Layers Dies. You'll love everything you make with the Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle.

Stampin' Up! So Many Stars with Cherry Cobbler Ribbon

  • Stitched Stars Dies and So Many Stars Stamp Set
  • Final two days to order your October Paper Pumpkin

Stampin' Up! So Many Stars

The first thing you're probably going to say about today's card, after going "oohh...ahhh" is that we don't have Cherry Cobbler Ribbon in our current catalogs.  So how does she expect us to make this card?  Well, its true.  We don't have Cherry Cobbler ribbon.  So keep reading and I'll show you how I created the ribbon I wanted to use on this card. I used Cherry Cobbler and Gold foil along with So Many Starts Stamp Set and Stitched Stars Dies.  Now I can't wait to try with same card with Granite Gray with White heat embossed dies and gold foil accents.

The basecard for this card is Cherry Cobbler.  Then the next layer is Gold Foil Sheets.  Then another layer of Cherry Cobbler stamped with stars using the So Many Stars Stamps Sets heat set with Gold Embossing Powder.  Then another smaller layer of Gold Foil Sheets and the Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Then I die cut several of the stars and elements using the Stitched Stars Dies out of Gold Foil Sheets and added them to the card surface.

Since we have no Cherry Cobbler ribbon, I decided to make my own.  Using a clear block, the 5/8" Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon. and a Cherry Cobbler ink pad, I colored the ribbon before tying it in a bow to use on my card.

You'll find so many creative ways to combine the So Many Stars Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog. I hope this beautiful card will inspire you to make hand-made cards for someone you love. You'll love everything you make with these products.
