Halloween Treat Boxes using Clear Tiny Treat Boxes

  • Halloween Treat Boxes
  • 2 X 2 X 2 Clear Tiny Treat Boxes
  • I'm going to Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home next week

If you still have a bit of your Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper, grab some of your Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and make these cute treat holders, and you'll be ready for trick and treaters later this week.  I used Layering Squares Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, the spider from the Little Treat Box Dies, and Peek-A- Hoot Dies to create these cute treats.  Fill them with sweet treats or little toys and you're ready for Halloween.

I cut a strip of 12" X 2" Designer Series Paper.  Then I Cut off two 2" X 2" squares to use on the base and the top cover for the 2" square acetate boxes.  Then I used the remaining 8" X 2" to cover the inside of the Tiny Tread Boxes.  I then used square dies from the Layering Squares Dies and Stitched Shapes Framelits to die cut a Basic Black scalloped mat, a Rich Razzelberry (or Cajun Craze). Square, and then a Whisper white Stitched Shape square using the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I stamped the Boo from the Have A Hoot Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the Whisper White Square, and added a Basic Black web die cut from the Peek-A-Hoot- Dies and a spider from the Little Treat Box Dies to complete my Halloween scene.

I added a Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each of the Whisper White Layers and tied a bow using the 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon to hold the box shut securely.

You'll have so much fun creating these scary little Halloween Treat Boxes.  And your Trick and Treaters will feel special picking up one of these little boxes of fun on Hallows Eve.

I'm sooo ready for Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home

This year we've seen so many changes to how our favorite events are being hosted.  I always look forward to yearly Stampin' Up! live events -- especially OnStage.  Its always fun to be part of an excited crowd of fun-loving stampers seeing demonstrations of upcoming catalog products and display boards of ideas, swapping cards with other demonstrators, and seeing old friends from other parts of the country or from abroad.

Well, this year Stampin' Up! is providing us some of these same fun experiences --only virtually--with Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home happening in the first week in November.

Today, fun gifts for the event started to arrive at my home.  First:  A big swag box arrived.  We usually receive a bag or tote of some sort, stamp sets from the upcoming Spring Mini catalogs, pens, notebooks, and other goodies.  Who wants to see what we've received this year?

My Swag Box Arrive for Stampin' Up! OnStage@Home!

Also, my mail today included a smaller box.  Stampin' Up! treats Silver Elite Demonstrators and above extra special at Stampin' Up! events.  This usually includes special events for only these demonstrators.  These special events are called Center Stage...they really put us center stage.    Just because we aren't together this year doesn't mean that Stampin' Up! isn't continuing the practice of making us feel special.

This is the box I unwrapped along with a hint of the gifts inside.

A special gift sent to Silver Elite Demonstrators and above attending OnStage@Home

I can't wait to begin sharing with you the new products Stampin' Up! will offer beginning with the Spring Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration in January.  Demonstrators get an early look and get to order in early December--unless you attend OnStage@Home.  We'll be able to place an order for new items in early November so we get an early start on producing samples to show our customers.

Cracker box treat boxes for Halloween from September Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin

  • Hello Pumpkin October Paper Pumpkin
  • Cracker Box Treat Packages in Fall Themes
  • Make Holidays a little sweeter.  Order the Jolly Gingerbread November Paper Pumpkin Kit by November 10

I've been working on my Halloween Treats today, using the September Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I started by sorting the numerous fall-themed die cuts.  Wow!  What a stash of die cuts...all in perfect fall colors.  I love the multi-occasions stamp set to use with the supplies to make 20 cracker box treat packages.  Pumpkins, leaves, Halloween cats and witches hats.  So much to work with!  Although you can choose cracker box treat packages in strips or checks, I decide to make all of mine in the Cajun Craze checks. Then I added from the huge assortment of die cuts and sentiment labels. I love that these cute cracker box treat holders can be used for so many different fall occasions.  See how I've decorated some for Halloween treats and others for use on my Thanksgiving table.   Be sure to order your upcoming Paper Pumpkin kits by the 10th of each month.  See below for details on this month's kit.

Two Halloween Cracker Box Treat Holders
Cute Halloween Treat Holders

The first two cracker box teat sets I made used the cat and the witches hat die cuts  I attached flowers, leaves, vines, and filigree doily die cut elements.  I used the Cajun Craze ink spot and the Fall occasions stamp set to stamp sentiments for each treat box.  I folded the treat boxes, using my bone folder to ensure sharp creases on the pre-scored lines of the cracker treat boxes. Bakers twine in both black and white were included with this kit, and after filling the cracker boxes with three Hersey Nuggets, I used the baker's twine to close the ends of each box.

Perfect as Place Cards on a Thanksgiving Table

If you decide to use these cracker treat boxes for a Fall event or for Thanksgiving table treats, you might want to select the pumpkins, flowers and leaves die cuts to decorate your boxes.  Your family will love this extra thoughtful treat on thier plates during Thanksgiving feast.  You could also decorate the other side with their names using the die cut letters from the Playful Alphabet Dies.

Four Cracker Box Treat Holders from a Paper Pumpkin Kit

I'm enjoying using the September seasonal Paper Pumpkin kit to make pretty packaging for tiny treats with this collection of fall-themed supplies.  With so many dainty die-cut elements, I'll have plenty of left-over die-cuts to add flair to a traditional fall card, or to add to the special, collectable box.  While this kit was designed to offer a unique treat packaging experience to subscribers, the supplies can easily be used to create projects for many autumn occasions.  And I love all of the project inspiration on the Paper Pumpkin Facebook Group.  If you haven't tried Paper Pumpkin monthly craft kits yet, read about the upcoming month's kit below and order today!

Tip for this  kit:  The September Hello Paper Pumpkin Kit included a very large number of die-cut pumpkins flowers, sentiment labels, die cut vines, doily designs, witch hats and black cats.  To speed up assembly and to keep myself organized, I found a cake tray--you might find a cupcake holder--that I used to hold the die cuts until I was ready to add them to my cracker box treat holders.  This means I could easily move my assembly from my craft room to my TV room when I felt the need for a change of scenery. I also found that using my silicon craft sheets while gluing small items together was a great solution to avoid sticky work surfaces.

You'll love creating Fall craft projects and cards for your family and friends using monthly Paper Pumpkin craft kits.  These kit include precut papers, a unique stamp set and an ink spot to complete your projects.  Each kit includes assembly instructions, and Stampin' Up! publishes an assembly video with plenty of great visuals.
