Create a Delightful Treasure using the Meadow dies from the Quiet Meadow Bundle

The Quiet Meadow Bundle from the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog has such a wonderful simplicity about it.  Today's card uses neutrals and textures to create a subtle, yet beautiful greeting card.  I used Smoky Slate, Gray Granite, Basic White, Basic Black, and Velum to create this simple card.  The Vellum and black silhouette die cuts along with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder created just the right balance of textures to turn this simple card into a delightful treasure.

The basecard for this cards is Smoky Slate Cardstock.  Then a layer of Granite Gray, and a layer of Basic White dry embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

I die cut one of the silhouette flowers from the Meadow Dies in Basic Black, and cut one of the florals from Vellum Cardstock.  I added them to the embossed Basic White layer with Multipurpose Glue and because of the textured background, the glue didn't show behind the vellum.

I die cut a sentiment layer using one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies from Basic White.  Then I used one of the sentiments from the Beautify of Friendship Stamp Set from the Beauty of the Earth Suite.  I stamped it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I added three of the Matte Black Dots as accents on my card.

New Catalog Projects:  Missed my earlier sneak peeks of projects using items from the new catalog? Demonstrators are able to preorder from new catalogs in advance of general catalog release, so I've been playing with new sets for several weeks.   Check out some of my blog posts where I've highlighted projects made with items from the new catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure.

As with each new catalog launch, I encourage you to order as soon as ordering begins to ensure you are able to order all of the items on your shopping list.  Stampin' Up! must forecast and order items months in advance, based on projection from demonstrator preorders, surveys and market trends.  When actual customer ordering begins, there are always a few surprises or unanticipated transportation or shipping delays.  Don't be disappointed when popular items sell out early.  Order your new catalog items while supplies are at their peak.
