Stampin' Up! Candy Cane elements coordinate for Christmas delight

I used elements from both the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set and the Star of Light stamp set to create this card.

The new Real Red 3/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon from the Holiday Catalog is the perfect accent to this simple card.

The elements on this stamp set are embossed with white embossing powder.  The layering was a snap using the Layering Squares Framelits.  I love how the cuts are perfect and the tight tolerances give this card a professional look. I used multipurpose liquid glue rather than snail or fast fuse so that I could align the squares and images once I put them in place.  Liquid glue gives you a couple of seconds toposition your elements perfectly before it take hold.

Stamps: Candy Cane Christmas, Star of Light (Sentiment)
Ink: Real Red, Versa-Mark
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Blooms & Crumb Cake

Accessories and tools:  White embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, Real Red 3/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon, Layering Squares Framelits, Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, New Big Shot Platform, Precision Base Plate, Standard Cutting Pads
