Stampin' Up! Country Road

Today's stamp set is a "must-have" for us here in Houston, TX.  It's going to be my "go-to" set for masculine cards, and I love how classy a simple Crumb Cake and Basic Black card becomes, using this set.  The Country Road stamp set immediately went on my purchase list as soon as I received this lovely card from Lorrie Skinner, during a recent swap.

The basecard is Basic Black.  Then a layer of Crumb Cake.  Then the images are stamped in Crumb Cake and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  A frame in Basic Black cardstock accents the stamped image.  It's popped up on dimensionals.  Three Basic Rhinestones are adhered to the  upper corner of the frame. I keep finding myself humming, " Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue ridge mountains, Shenandoah river...." while playing with this set.

The star from the Country Road Stamp set is stamped in Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake cardstock and fussy cut before adhering it to the lower corner of the frame.  The center of the star includes another Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  This is such a versatile card design.  Birthdays, Congratulations, Get Well, Thinking of you.  This card would work for many occasions. (Still humming, "Country roads, take me home.  To the place I belong...)

The imaged included in the Stampin' Up! Country Road set will help you create both classy and fun cards with limited supplies and colors.

(More humming, "West Virginia, Mountain mamma, take me home, Country roads...)

New Stampin' Blends are here!

Stampin' Blends markers are available in new colors.  We know you love the Blends markers introduced at the beginning of this year.  Stampin' Up! couldn't keep them in stock!!  However, both the existing colors and the new colors are now in stock and available for you to order.  The markers make color images fast with so much depth.

The new Stampin' Blends colors are on page 205 of the Annual catalog.  New colors are indicated in the catalog with a red circle with an N in front of each new color.  It is recommended that you stamp your images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink when your color with Blend alcohol-based markers, so be sure to order that ink pad if you're ordering Blends.  Order these popular Stampin' Blends today!  Pick from handy two pack combos or single Blends marker colors.
