Stampin' Up! Animal Outing Giraffes
I looked at the cute card I made yesterday with the Stampin' Up! Animal Outing and I just had to make another card with this sweet set. I decided to use a completely different color pallete for this card.
The basecard for this card is So Saffron. The next layer is Soft Suede. The left edge was die cut with the Delicate Lace Edgelit. Then there is a layer of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. This DSP has a pearlized finish that changes color based on how the light hits it.
I made a frame out of Soft Suede using the Stitched Shapes Circle and the Layering Circles framelits. Then I cut another circle out of Very Vanilla to stamp the two giraffes and the leaves from this set. The leaves are colored using the Light Old Olive Blends Marker.
The sentiment is also from the Animal Outing set. Its stamped in Soft Suede and then cut with another, smaller Stitched Shapes circle.
I had the Botanical Tags Thinlits sitting on my Big Shot, so I cut a couple of branches/leave and added them behind the sentiment. I stamped the branch and frog from the Animal Outing stamp set and fussy cut it before adding it to the top of my sentiment. It was only after I had assembled the card that I remembered that this set had a coordinating die set. Duh! One of the dies cuts the branch and frog. AND, there is a coordinating branch and leaves die as well. This is a new bundle in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog this year, and you can save 10% by purchasing the stamp set and die set together.
