Stampin' Up! Peaceful Place Scenes

Today I'm feeling lazy.  So instead of creating a couple of cards with the new stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog  I received last week at Stampin' Up!'s On Stage event, I decided to show you a couple more of the beautiful swap cards I received.

Both cards use the Peaceful Place stamp set.  I love how the two cards show how differently this set can look depending on the treatment used.

Peaceful Place Stamp Set creates a Fall theme
with a sponged background and Gold Foil Leaf

This card has a beautifully sponged background in fall colors.  Then the image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The water is highlighted with Wink of Stella to provide a shimmer to the scene.  To the side of the sentiment is a die cut gold foil leaf, adding to the over all fall look of this card.  Its a beautiful card to use for a fall holiday or to stay in touch with loved ones over Thanksgiving.

Monochromatic Card idea
Peaceful Place stamp set embossed in Black on Smoky Slate Cardstock

This same Peaceful Place stamp set, embossed in Black on Smoky Slate,  and accented with 1/2" Black Satin Ribbon and Black Sequins from the Metallic Sequins Assortment takes on a very classy look.  Perfect for a male relative, or a friend who has suffered a setback of some sort.  This monochromatic card uses Smoky Slate, Basic Black and Basic Gray Cardstock

Both cards are stunning in their own way.  I wish I could give attribution to the lovely designers of these cards, but neither included contact information about themselves.

Take a look at other sets and dies available in the Stampin' Up! Main Catalog and the Holiday Catalog,  Then, order your holiday stamp sets and dies soon.  Several Fall and Christmas sets and accessories have already sold out,  so you'll want to place your order while your favorites are still available.

Also, during On Stage last week, we learn which items from the Holiday catalogs will carry over, which means your investment in these sets will extend beyond the holidays.  There may be more carry overs, but we know about these for certain.

Join us for a crafty afternoon of making holiday cards this Sunday afternoon, November 18.  You'll leave with these 6 cards to use as samples to create more cards for your ever-growing list of friends and family.  As a crafter you know they won't settle for a Facebook Messenger Wave, a few holiday emojis at the end of a text, or a store bought card.  They know you're a crafter and they are looking for a card from you they'll be proud to display this holiday season.

Do it the easy way.  Come make cards where all the cutting is done for you.  Class is Sunday afternoon, November 18.  You'll leave with these lovely samples to use to create more cards on your own.

We're using a variety of Fall and Holiday stamp sets, including the Snowfall dies from the limited-time Snowflake Showcase sets available to customers November 1- 30th.

You'll get a chance to try several different products, punches, dies and techniques to add to your crafting skills.
