November Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Today I finally got time to play with my November Paper Pumpkin Kit, called Winter Gifts.  The kit includes materials to make 24 tags for your holiday packages.  However, I'm planning to use my kit to make full-size Christmas Cards.  Today's card uses elements from the kit plus a basecard and background to turn the Paper Pumpkin tag into a card.  Isn't it beautiful?  I love the Cable Knit Embossing folder, even though its retired.  It seemed to snuggle the tag and images perfectly!  The rest of the elements are all from the November Paper Pumpkin kit.

The basecard is Thick Whisper White cardstock.  Then a layer of Pool Party dry embossed with the retired Cable Kit Embossing Folder.

The wood-grain tag and cardinal, the Shaded Spruce ribbon, Silver Cord, sequins, leaf elements and sentiment tag are all from the November paper Pumpkin Kit. The word Peace if from the stamp set included in the November Paper Pumpkin Kit.  It is stamped in Shaded Spruce, the Stampin' Spot included in the kit.  You'll love working with these all-inclusive kits.  Just add scissors and adhesive.

Below are the tags the elements from the kit make.  I'm sure your mind is already thinking of how you would rework these into beautiful cards -- or use them as gift tags -- just as they are!.  And the best news yet?  This kit, called the Winter Gifts Kit is still available, if you are a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber.

If you also have the October Paper Pumpkin Kit, the elements in both kits coordinate, giving you even more options for tags or for cards.

Coordinating Stampin' Up! colors:  Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce.

Beat the holiday card rush.  Order November Winter Gifts Paper Pumpkin Full Kit, and make your cute handmade cards while saving yourself hours of time using the included die cuts, ribbons and twine:
