Stampin' Up! On Stage Swaps

Here's another batch of swaps I received from the Stampin' Up! On Stage event last week end.  I hope some of these wonderful cards inspire you to use your current stamps before the new catalog arrives June 4.  I saw the new catalog and on Friday my demonstrator Preorder from the new catalog arrived.  Just in time for a weekend of crafting fun.

New catalog coming June 4

Hope you enjoy these cards.  I've listed the creators, where they were marked.  Unfortunately, not all cards included names. See my earlier blog posting for more card swaps and information on the retiring products lists.

A very Special "Shelli" Paper Pumpkin Kit for May

To learn more, click here.

We made a sample from May Paper Pumpkin kit at On Stage last week, and I immediately went into my Paper Pumpkin subscription and upped the number of kits I have coming.  This kit will likely sell out, so if you like the sneak peek you see in the video below, be sure to order now rather than waiting for the May 10 order deadline.  Can't see the video below?  Use this link to view it on YouTube.

This kit is designed by Shelli Garner, the founder of Stampin' Up!.  She has a personal style that I've been attracted to for many, many years.   Paper Pumpkin can be purchased in 1 month - 3 month - 6 month of 12 month subscriptions.  You receive a different kit each month, along with all of the materials needed to complete your projects, except scissors and glue.  You'll love how fast these kits go together, if you don't have a lot of time.  And your finished kits means you'll have lovely cards or projects on hand when you need a card rather than making a late-night run to the card shop because of a last-minute need.

These kits include the papers, embellishments, stamp set and mini ink pad needed to complete the kit.  This month's kit is a Spring card kit with four different card designs with pre printed envelopes.  It comes in a one-of-a-kind beautiful vintage-designed box.  This is one Paper Pumpkin kit you don't want to miss.  Order now.

    Want a New Catalog?

I'm putting together my new catalog mailing list this month so I can tell Stampin' Up! which of my customers to mail new catalogs.  If you've purchased from me in the past 6 months, you'll be on my list to receive a new catalog.  If you haven't purchased and don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list, so you'll be one of the first to receive a new catalog when they are available in late May.  You'll want your copy before the June 4 catalog goes live so you have time to put together your Wish List and be the first to order on June 4.

A Little Card-Making Inspiration - Swaps from Stampin' Up! On Stage

    Stampin' Up! On Stage Swaps

I just returned from the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in San Antonio last week end, and all I can say is your going to love the new stamp sets and product suites Stampin' Up! has for us in the coming catalog!

    2019-2020 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog

One of the fun activities from Stampin' Up! On Stage is swapping cards with other demonstrators.  Today and tomorrow I plan to show you some of the great swaps I received at this On Stage in San Antonio last week end.  I think the swaps this year were some of the best I've received!  Also, for the first time in many years I only swapped in the general swaps -- no organized swaps, and I loved not having the pressure to create a certain number of cards before the event.  Not all the swaps included names of creator, but if they did, I included it with the card. With just a little over  6 weeks before the new catalogs appear, you'll love having this extra inspiration to use your current sets.

Here's some of the great swaps I received.

Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade Thank You Card

    • Thank You card using Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper
    • A perfect swap card for OnStage

    Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade Designer

Today I arrived in San Antonio for Stampin' Up! On Stage.  This is one of the 6 different swap cards I created for swapping cards with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators .

I usually create cards with multiple die cuts, layers and accessories for many of my organized swaps.  However, I like to create a simple card for general swaps.  And this card really fit the bill.

Today's card again uses the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, one of my favorites since it was introduced in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog almost one year ago.  It can be dressed up with coordinating ribbons and Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Papers.  Or it stands as its own focal point.  I love how nice a simple card looks.

The basecard for today's card is Fresh Fig.  Then a layer of Smoky Slate, and then a layer of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.

I used two different sentiments from the Humming Along stamp set for my two different cards below.  They are stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then punched with the Tailored Tag punch.

Then I tied a 1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon into a knot and added it under the sentiment layer, which is popped up on Dimensionals.  Because the ribbon is one-sided, you do need to twist the ribbon ends slightly to ensure the velvet side is showing.

I'm getting my new catalog mailing list set up this month.  If you've purchased from me in the past 6 months, you'll be on the my list to receive a new catalog in late May.  If you haven't purchased and don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list.

    Recipe

    • Stamps: Humming Along
    • Ink:  Tuxedo Black Memento
    • Paper:  Fresh Fig, Smoky Slate,Whisper White, Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper,
    • Accessories:  1/4" Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, Tailored Tag Punch, Bone Folder (102300), Multipurpose Glue (110755), Dimensionals
