  • Stampin' Up!  Sailing Home Stamp Set
  • Order from current catalogs this week and save on Cardstock, envelopes
  • Last chance on bundle prices for many sets that will carry over to new catalog

Sailing Home Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

Today's cards are more swap cards I received from other demonstrators who attended On Stage in mid-April, and were able to place early orders from the upcoming 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  Today's swaps highlight the Sailing Home bundle.  And you'll finally be able to order this sweet suite on June 4.  I'm excited that this set includes sentiments that are great for new graduates, or a wonderful husband, as well as Thanks and other sentiments you'll use over and over.

Both of these cards were created by Lorrie Skinner.  She created two very different looks using one of the prints from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper pack.

The basecard on the card above is Garden Green.  Then a layer of Old Olive Cardstock.  Then a layer of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.  The light house and sentiment are stamped in Night of Navy on Very Vanilla Cardstock    The sentiment includes a knot of Night of Navy/ Sahara Sandy Baker's Twine.  One of the Sail Away Trinkets is added to the bottom of the light house.  The Old Olive layer is stamped with Old Olive ink.  A beautiful card using the Sailing Home Stamp Set.

This card uses Mossy Meadow basecard.  Then a layer of Very Vanilla dry embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.  Then a print from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.

The image layer is matted in an Mossy Meadow mat.  The lighthouse image from the Sailing Home Stamp Set is stamped in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla cardstock.  The card is accented with the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon.  Thank you, Lorrie Skinner for these two beautiful card swaps.

You'll find more card ideas for using this stamp set on page 144-145 of the new annual Stampin' Up! catalog, which be available for ordering beginning June 4.  The Sailing Home Bundle -- the stamp set and coordinating dies, can be purchased at a 10% savings when purchased as a bundle.   Be sure to add this to your Shopping List to order as soon as the June 4 Ordering Window opens for the new catalog.

Also, if you're looking for a way to save, if a bundle in the current catalogs is carrying over to the new catalog, buy it before June 3 and enjoy the 10% savings.  Bundle prices on current bundles go away when the new catalog goes live on June 4.  However, the new catalog will include bundle pricing on a number of new bundles offered for the first time in the new catalog.

Take a look at items on the Last Chance List here, including any bundles that are listed as last chance because the bundling prices goes away, even though it will carry over to the new catalog.

Petal Promenade Mother's Day Card

  • Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper
  • Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper
  • Final days to sign up for the Beautiful Cards Class - April 28, 2019

Stampin' Up! Mother's Day Card

Today's cards include some of my favorite products that are on the Last-Chance Product list -- Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  I'm going to be so sad to see these items retire.  But you can still order them as long as supplies remain.  Make sure you look through the Last-Chance Product Lists and order your favorites before they are gone.  You'll love having Petal Promenade on had to create Spring cards you'll need for so many occasions.

The basecard for today's card is Petal Pink.  Then a layer of the Grapefruit Grove.  Then a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  And then one of the laser-cut designs from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper.  These papers are white on one side and vanilla on the other side.  I used the vanilla side for these cards.

I stamped the Happy Mother's Day sentiment from Just Because Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo on a label cut using the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies, which have already sold out.  Hint:  I cut the Happy Mother's Day sentiment apart from the image in the Just Because Stamp Set to make it easier to use just the Sentiment.   Don't wait if you want something on the Last-Chance Products list.  If it's something you want, order it sooner rather than risk it selling out.  I did another version of this card using a sentiment label from the Petal & More Thinlits Dies set, which is also on the Last Chance list, but it's still still available as of this post.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, and it is stamped on on the Very Vanilla label in Flirty Flamingo.

The bow is Calypso Coral 3/8" Satin Ribbon, tied in a double bow  and attached to the top of the card.  On the second version of the card, I die cut a Doily Builder Thinlits, another sold out item.  Are you seeing a pattern here?  You really want to look through the Last Chance items to make sure you don't miss something you meant to order.  An alternative die you could use in place of the Doily Builder is the flower form the Flourish set.

I've loved the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper since it was introduced a year ago in June.  I plan to make as many cards as possible to use both the Petal Promenade paper and the beautiful Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper before this favorite of mine is gone for good..

Need a copy of the upcoming catalog?  If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Contact me, so I can add you to my new catalog mailing list, which I'm finalizing at the end of this month (April 30).  New catalogs will arrive towards the end of May, giving you time to put together your Wish List so you'll be ready to order June 4.
