Its a Good Day for a little Treat

  • Clear Treat Boxes using A Good Day stamp set
  • Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper
  • Last-Chance Product list coming April 9

A Good Day from the Occasions catalog

Need a cute treat box for a party or a little treat for a friend?  Here's the cutest set of boxes that go together quickly and are such a color treat for the eyes.  I'm using some of the free gifts I earned during Sale-A-Bration: the Bubble & Fizz Designer Series Paper.  In addition,  I'm using the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and the Good Day stamp set from the Occasions catalog along with the Bubble & Fizz Sale-A-Bration paper.

I used four different patterns from the Bubble's and Fizz Designer Series Papers.  We have cardstock, ribbons and markers that coordinate with all of these papers.  I used one stamp from the A Good Day stamp set and stamped it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White die cut squares.

The Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series papers is cut and fit into the inside of the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes.  The squares are cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelit and the Layering Squares Framelits and are layered, colored, and attached to the outside of the box using glue dots.

I used both Blends alcohol-based Markers and one Stampin' Write markers to color the stamped images.  Colors included Daffodil Delight Light and Dark Blends, Bermuda Bay Light and Dark Blends, Calypso Coral Light and Dark Blends, and then the Lemon Line Twist Stampin' Write Marker.

Here are the dimensions for cutting and scoring:

Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper for inside of box:
1-15/16 X 8-1/4" and,
1-15/16 X 1-15/16 (2 ea)

Score the 1-15/16 X 8-1/4 piece at:
1-15/16, 3-7/8, 5-13/16, 7-3/4"

Sentiment panel for front of box:
Basic Black Cardstock -1-1/2 scalloped Square
Coordinating Cardstock - 1-3/8" square
(Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist)
Whisper White - 1-1/8" stitched shapes square

Once assembled, tie the coordinating ribbons into bows around the box.

Last Chance-Product Count-down

We are just days away from the last-chance product list announcement.  Stampin' Up! will publish the annual products and Occasions catalog last chance list April 9.

There is always a rush to order items on the last-chance list when the list is announced.   At this time of year, inventory of some of the current items are beginning to get low.  One of the first set of products to sell out are the retiring 2016-2018 In Color ink pads, reinkers or cardstock.  Then the coordinating In-Color embellishment start to disappear.  If you've waited to order any re-inkers or coordinating items you might need for the 2016-2018 In Colors, I recommend ordering now.  As soon as the Last-Chance product list is announced, items are only available until they sell-out.

Below are the 2016-2018 In-colors that will retire this year, as these are the trendy In-Color collection available for only two years to keep the Stampin' Up! Color Collection fresh.  Don't forget to add the reinkers, and coordinating 8-1/2 X 11 inch coordinating Cardstock and the 12 X 12 Cardstock package.
