Floral Essence Stamp Set Sneak Peek from Stampin' Up! 2019-20 New Catalog

  • Two cards using the new Floral Essence Stamp Set and Product Suite
  • Registration open for the Beautiful Cards Class - April 28, 2019

Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Product Suite

Today I'm beginning a series of Sneak Peeks using new 2019-2020 annual Stampin' Up! catalog products that will be released June 4 for customer purchases and May 2 for Demonstrator Preorders.  Demonstrators attending the Stampin' Up! On Stage Events were able to preorder new items and we made samples using these new items during the On Stage events.  Today, I'm highlighting a sneak peek of the delicate Floral Essence Stamp Set and coordinating suite of products.

I created a card based on one of the cards from the display boards at the San Antonio event and added my own creative twists.

The basecard for today's card is Lovely Lilac.  Then a layer of So Saffron and then a layer of Whisper White for the images. On the Whisper White layer, I used one of the solid images from the Floral Essence stamp set and stamped it in Heather Highland with the center of the flowers first stamped in Daffodil Delight and the stamped again in So Saffron.  The Daffodil Delight alone didn't seem to have enough depth but turned just the right shade and depth with the addition of the So Saffron layer of ink.  Then I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow below the flowers.

I stamped an open image flower from the Floral Essence Stamp Set in Heather Highland and then selected a sentiment from the stamp set and stamped it in Mossy Meadow onto the flower.  The leaves behind the flower are stamped in Mossy Meadow.  The ribbon is 1/8" Pineapple Punch Grosgrain Ribbon, which will carry over to the new catalog.  I found that the Leaf Punch, which will also carry over to the new catalog, punched out the triple leaf and stem perfectly.   This set coordinates with a new punch, called Perennial Punch, which is used on the card below, which we stamped during On Stage.  When the new Floral Essence Stamp Set and coordinating Perennial Flower punch are purchased as a new bundle it will save you 10%.

I love that the stamp set includes images that created such different looks.  The card, below, was created during On Stage and also used Floral Essence Stamp Set.  This product suite includes not only the Floral Essence Stamp Set and coordinating Perennial Flower Punch, but also includes hand-painted images on the Perennial Essence Designer Series papers, colored Vellum, Organdy Striped Ribbon, and the adhesive-backed fuzzy yellow floral centers.  You'll love designing Spring card using this new Perennial Essence product suite.

This next card uses Rich Razzleberry basecard, then a layer of the new Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.  The image layer is Whisper White.  The flat flowers are stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink.  The dimensional flowers are stamped on the new Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock.  The vellum is 12" X 12" and comes in 3 colors--Old Olive, Petal Pink and Old Olive--in each package. Tip:  When stamping on vellum, your ink will take longer to dry.  Stamp it and set it aside while you create the rest of your card.  The sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzelberry on Whisper White.  The bow is Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the new Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.

You'll find many ways to create with this new suite.  I recommend that you start saving Sneak Peek card ideas to your Pinterest Boards now so you have a ready collection of ideas to use when you new catalog arrives in late May.  You can begin ordering these new items June 4.

The Leaf Punch, which you probably already have,
works with the leaf from the Floral Essence Stamp Set
