Stampin' Up! Serene Scene Stamp Set

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!  This is the most beautiful set!   I couldn't wait to get my hands on this stamp set, and Mr. Brown finally delivered it this afternoon,  The Serene Garden set has a coordinating die set, which adds so much to this wonderful set!  The main image from this set is rather large, so I was glad I had my Stamperatus handy.  Good think I did.  My first attempt resulted in a partial image the first time I tried stamping the large image. But with the Stamperatus, I just reinked and stamped in the same exact place, so no wasted effort!  I stamped the large image in both corners of my Whisper White layer before coloring the images with Stampin' Blends Markers.

The basecard is one of the new Colors introduced as part of the Color Revamp, Mango Melody.  Then the image layer is Whisper White. I colored the image using Light and Dark Old Olive Blends, Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends, and Light Pumpkin Pie Blends.  See page 205 of the new catalog for a listing all of the Stampin' Blends colors.

On a scrap of Whisper White paper, I stamped the butterfly from the Serene Garden set, colored it with Blends and used the coordinating Garden Scene Framelits to cut out the butterfly.  I also stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings set onto Whisper White with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then I die cut the sentiment using the Stitched Label Framelits and backed it with a small piece of Mango Melody.  I popped the sentiment up on mini dimensionals and added it to the center of the card.

Just a reminder that the current colors of Blends markers are finally back in stock and can be ordered now.  The new Stampin' Blends Marker colors are still awaiting delivery and could possibly be available mid June.  The new colors have a red "N" in front of them in the new catalog, page 205.  Each color Blends can be purchased individual, in sets of two, or as an entire set.
