Celebrate You Silver Foil

This time of the year, you're likely to have needs for lots of cards.  Graduations cards was my focus today when I hit my craft room.  I used an earlier card as a starting point and added a bit more with the Celebrate You framelits.  I'm sooo happy this Sale-A-Bration Celebrate You thinlit will carry over to the new annual catalog next month.  There is so much that can be done with this set of dies.

The card I made today uses Whisper White and Silver foil paper and vellum.  It includes a lot of texture, but very few colors.  I think, in this case, that less is more.

I used a Thick Whisper White card stock.  Then I dry embossed the Petal Pair embossing folder image on the left side of a Whisper White Layer.

I used the Celebrate You die to cut the word Amazing and the word You out of Silver Foil Paper.  The vellum flowers are outlined in silver, and this is one of several flower elements from the Occasion Catalog Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit.  This embellishment is on the Last Chance List, so if you want it, pick it up before May 31.

The ribbon is a 3/8 " silver-edged Whisper White Ribbon, which will also carry over to the new catalog.

This inside of the card is stamped with a Congratulations  from the  Bookcase Builder stamp.  The word was stamped with VersaMark and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

The white/silver numbers and vellum/silver branches are from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit.  This embellishment kit includes not only several silver/white vellum flowers and branches, but several multicolored birthday cakes, and die cut foil colored flowers, velvet ribbon, a dozen tiny clothespins, white/silver foil, 1/8" washi tape, and a sheet with four sets of silver/white numbers.  Click on the Embellishment Kit image in the product list below to see a closeup of all items included in this kit.  I ordered one Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit and as soon as I opened it, I ordered two more.  I even like the clear boxes that the Embellishment Kits comes in.  I'm sure I'll be repurposing the clear box once I've used the embellishments.

Get your retiring products before May 31

Visit my online store to check out Last Chance products from the current Stampin' Up! catalogs.  While most items are only available until the sell out, retiring stamp sets will be available  until May 25.  My online store is the best source to see if the products you want are still available.  As items sell out, they will no longer be listed in my online stores.

Carry-over bundles of stamps and coordinating dies or punches that are marked 10% off in the current catalogs, will no longer carry bundle pricing in the new annual catalog. Get these bundled before March 31 to get the 10% savings.

Also, download the Last-Chance Product Lists and mark up your catalog with retiring products so you know which sets to grab before they are gone at the end of May.  Pick up reinkers for your old-style stamp pads, or pick up retiring cardstock colors you need to finish scrapbook pages you've started.
