Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek

Just one more day before the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog goes live.  Most of you have already received your catalog from me, if you've purchased from me in the past 6 months.  Tomorrow you'll be able to download a .pdf of the Holiday Catalog, which I highly recommend so that you can see close-ups of all of the beautiful images and ideas in this catalog.  I've been playing with new products for a month, now, --a benefit of being a demonstrator--and I'm so thrilled with the stamp sets, dies, and papers in this catalog.  You'll also find several holiday sets in the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog which I don't want you to forget about as you plan your Holiday product order.

Today I'm highlighting the Dashing Deer stamp set again.  Yes.  Its one of my favorites, and I've already shown you some wonderful ideas for using this stamp set and die bundle in previous posts, and again here and here.  Today I paired it with the Swirls and Curls Textured Impressions Embossing folder and Red Rhinestones from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  This card couldn't be easier.  This is a great idea for making a batch of cards to use for your Holiday messages.

Directions for today's card:
  • Thick Whisper White basecard
  • Next layer is Whisper White and stamped with a decorative boarder fro the Dashing Deer Stamp Set in Real Red ink.
  • The next layer is Real Red.
  • The next layer is Whisper White dry embossed with the Swirls and Curls Textured Impressions folder.
  • The deer is die cut from Real Red using the Detailed Deer Thinlit Dies from the Dashing Deer Bundle. The deer is popped up on Dimensionals

  • The sentiment is also from the Dashing Deer stamp set.  Its stamped on Whisper White with Read Red ink.
  • Red Rhinestones accent the sentiment tag and the background.

There is a gold and white version of this card on page 8 of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, along with other cute, inspirational ideas for using this stamp set and die bundle.  You'll want to add this bundle to your Holiday Catalog wish list!  I know I'll be using this set heavily this holiday season
