Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

  • Early Release of Share What You Love - May 1-31
  • Sneak Peek of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Papers
  • Three Early Release Bundles with Free Gifts Can be Yours

Share What You Love Early Release

Today, I'm continuing to use the Share What You Love Suite.  There are still products that are part of this suite that I have not yet introduced to you.

Today, I'm introducing you to one of the patterns from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Papers.  Demonstrators have had early access to this suite, so it is likely you've seen blogs, Instagram posts, and Pinterest boards showing sneak peeks of cards and projects using these beautiful papers.

Today's card highlights one of these new paper patterns and the Lovely Florals embossing folder I introduced to you yesterday.   This is part of the early release Share What You Love Suite that customers can purchase as a catalog prerelease between May 1-31.  Because these bundles include free gifts, it is likely the Share What You Love Suite will be very popular, and I suggest ordering your favorite bundle as soon as ordering begins on May 1.  The free gifts included with the prerelease bundles will not be offered when the Annual Catalog goes live June 1.

Today's card uses a basecard of Grapefruit Grove, then a layer of Very Vanilla, then another layer of Grapefruit Grove, dry embossed with the Lovely Florals embossing folder.  The embossed image was swirled with a sponge dauber and retired Very Vanilla Craft Ink.

I wanted my card to match a series of cards using Very Vanilla and Grapefruit Grove, but you'll likely want to use Whisper White accents on your cards as the background of the DSP on this card has a Whisper White background.  I used a sponge Dauber and lightly sponged the DSP with Grapefruit Grove to achieve a background that better matched the collection of display cards I'm creating for this suite.  This technique show you how you can extend the usefulness of your Designer Series Papers by changing the paper background colors to meet your need.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Share What You Love stamp set in Old Olive on Very Vanilla and then cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I mounted the sentiment on Dimensionals before adding it to the card.

The flowers from the Share What You Love stamp set were stamped in Grapefruit Grove and then fussy cut with Snips.  The heads of the flowers were brushed with Grapefruit Grove ink using an Aqua Painter.  A small bow out of 1/8" Sheer Old Olive ribbon was added to the stems of the flowers.

I've included a photo of yesterday's cards with today's card, below, to show you the different looks achieved using the embossing folder on different color backgrounds.    You'll love adding this beautiful suite to your Wish List from the new Annual Catalog, and I'm so excited that it will be prereleased for purchase beginning May 1.

Take a look at the wonder papers that are part of this Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.   They are a wonderful addition to this suite as they compliment the images in the stamp set and the Lovely Florals embossing folder, and work well with the new In Colors for 2018-2020.

These papers are a bit thicker than most of our other Designer Series Papers making them perfect for creating boxes, treat holders and envelopes.  This paper pack is double the number of sheets in our typical 12" X 12" double sided paper packs giving you plenty of sheets for large projects such as a yearly scrapbook or for a bridal shower or graduation party. Several patterns include a pearlized shimmer that matches our new doilies, and the new pearls that coordinate with this suite. Our normal paper packs include 12 double-sided sheets.  This paper Pack includes 24 sheets!

Three bundles plus the 5 new In Color stamp pads are part of the Share What You Love early release offer.

If you are a crafter with limited supplies who is just beginning to experience the job of creativity, the first Share-What-you-Love Bundle is for you.

The second bundle is for crafters looking to hone their skills with a few more items to help you push your creative boundaries without pushing you over the edge.  This  bundle will include not only the Love What you Do Stamp set, but a unique alphabet stamp set as well as several other new catalog items and two free gifts.

The third bundle is for those who want to have it all. The Share What you Love Specialty Designer Series Paper that we used today is included in this bundle.  This set of Specialty paper contains 24 sheet!   Each bundle comes with one, two or three free items that coordinate with your bundle, and the free gifts are only available with the bundles May 1-31, 2018

Watch for more ideas using this suite over the next few days.  You're going to want to add this suite to your new catalog Wish List.  It's a great way to get your hands on some of the newest colors, papers and stamp sets from the new catalog -- even before the catalog is released June 1.    Set you budget for next month --just a few days away--to include one of these bundles and the 5 new In Color stamp pads in the new, innovative stamp cases.

The new In Color Stamp pads are available to order May 1-31, and you'll save 10% when you purchase these newm Innovative In Colors stamp pads between May 1-31.  The savings on the In Color stamp pads is only good until May 31, so don't miss this opportunity when you place your May order.

New Catalog Sneak Peek - Share What You Love Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

  • Share What You Love Sneak Peek
  • Join us for Card Class - April 22, 2018
  • New items available on the Clearance Rack

Share What You Love Stamp Set

One of the fun new stamp sets from the upcoming June catalog, is the Share What You Love set.  Today, I'm showing a sneak peek of this new set and how a new stamper with limited supplies can use this set.  In future posts I'll show stepped up cards using this set.  This new stamp set will be offered to customers as an early release in May -- a month before the new catalog is released.  Demonstrators are able to purchase this set now to begin making samples and prepare classes using this new set...a great benefit for being a demonstrator.

The cards above are all made with the Share What You Love stamp set.  The set includes the images, the backgrounds, and the sentiments.  Using only Very Vanilla cardstock, an Old Olive Stamp Pad, the Grapefruit Grove Stamp Pad, and an Old Olive Stamp Write Marker, you can create all four of these different looks with this stamp set.  If you're just getting started as a new card maker, this is a wonderful way to get started.

This card above uses the flower image in Grapefruit Grove and some of the leaves full strength Old Olive and some leaves stamped off.  The sentiment is stamped in Grapefruit Grove with the word Friends wiped and marked with the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.  There is a background image that is used to color some of the flowers by stamping them with Grapefruit Grove.

This card, above, is created by first stamping one of the background images from this set in Grapefruit Grove and then stamping the flower image onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  The accents are stamped in Old Olive.  The sentiment is again covered in Grapefruit Grove ink and the word "Friend" is wiped clean and then only the word "Friend" is colored with the Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker.

The card above was created by punching a circle to use as a guide and then stamping the small leaf stamp in Old Olive around the outside of the circle.  Then the sentiment was inked with Grapefruit Grove, then the word "beautiful" was wiped clean and reinked with the Old Olive stampin' Write marker.  Then I stamped the small flowers several times and fussy cut several individual and a couple of bunches, popped them on mini dimensionals, and added them to the wreath. A wonderfully simple card for sending a quick message to let someone you love know that you're thinking of them.

The final card is another simple background from the set, stamped in Old Olive.  Then a few accents were stamped in Old Olive.  A sentiment block was stamped with the "Thank You" from this set, and then the flowers were stamped in Grapefruit Grove on Very Vanilla and fussy cut.  There is a small stamp for adding color to your flower outline that makes creating these cards simple and fast.

If you want to get your hands on new products from the June catalog, you'll love ordering this early release set in May.  I'll tell you more about how you can get this set and the Old Olive and Grapefruit Grove stamp pads in the new ink pad cases plus other specials as we get closer to the May early release of this set.  I'll also show you more ways to use this set if you're a more experienced stamper who has a few more supplies to use on your cards.  Also if you don't have an Old Olive marker, check out the items on the Clearance Rack.  There is a combo Old Olive and a Real Red Stampin' Write Markers on sale for only US$ 2.80 until they are sold out.  It's a great opportunity to buy the Marker without purchasing the entire set of Stampin' Write Marker.

New Clearance Rack items just added

Want a deal?  New items have been added to the Clearance Rack.  Take up to 60% off these select products.  Get them while they last.

Upcoming Color Revamp

You'll want to know which colors are retiring, which colors will be added, and there are even a few colors that will return to the core colors.  Read about all the Color Revamp changes here.

There is also news about updates to the Stampin' Up! stamp pads as well.  You'll want time to plan for the changes coming with the June catalog release.  See the changes planned for products in the June catalog.

The Last-Chance Products Lists

See the newly released the Last-Chance Product Lists.  Start marking up your current catalogs so you know which items will retire so you can order your favorites before they're gone.  With the new Annual Catalog coming June 2, you'll want to know which current products will retire and which will carry over when the new June catalog is released.

To view all of the retiring products, visit my online store.  This is your best source to see if the product you want is still available.  As items sell out, they will no longer be listed in my online store.

To download the .pdf versions of the Last-Chance Lists, click the links below each image below.

Most items are only available until they sell out.  Stamp sets will be available until May 25.

Note:  Bundles that carry over to the new catalog are on the retired list because they will no longer receive special bundle pricing.  They will only be priced as individual items.  If you want a bundle listed in the current catalogs, purchase the bundles now from the current catalogs to ensure you receive the 10% bundle savings listed in the current catalog.

Note:  All of the ink pads are on the Last-Chance List. But don't worry, or panic like I did when I saw them on the Last-Chance List.  Not all the ink pad colors are retiring.  Stampin' Up! is improving its ink pad cases as the dies for making the ink pad cases are coming to their end-of-life. Stampin' Up! is using this as an opportunity to improve the design, and to do it at the same time as the Color Revamp to reduce the number of overall changes to the product line.

The new ink pad cases will still fit your Stampin' Up! Color Caddy, although a bit more roomy, so don't spin it too fast.  The covers will fit tighter and they will open more easily with less chance of the cover separating for the pad while opening.  (Yeah!  I've had that happen to me, with a stamp pad flying out of my hand, landing face down on my winter-white carpeting.  So glad our inks are water-soluble and clean up so easily!)  Stampin' Up! is also adding a defoamer to the ink to reduce bubbles and to give cleaner stamped images.  The new reinkers will include the defoamer.  You will only want to use the new reinkers with your new stamp pads.  The existing reinkers do not include a defoamer.
